Ideally, NASCAR Drivers Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, Casey Mears, Brian Vickers, Kasey Kahne, Denny Hamlin, Regan Smith, and Johnny Sauter would have never brought forth any change to NASCAR since the beginning of the 21st Century; much less ever have any presence in NASCAR at all.
Also, ideally; instead of them ever making it into NASCAR, Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, Casey Mears, Brian Vickers, Kasey Kahne, Denny Hamlin, Regan Smith, Matt Kenseth and his son Ross, and Johnny Sauter would instead be athletes in the NBA, NFL, MLB, or NHL.
And, ideally; instead of ever making it into Formula One, Jenson Button would instead be a Basketball, Baseball, or Soccer/Association Football athlete.
In part and parcel, ideally; NASCAR would never change, would forevermore remain the same as it was prior to the 21st Century; and it would forevermore remain an outlet (or avenue, in other words) by Automobile-loving people, for Automobile-loving people; and Sports and Fitness would never intermix with NASCAR.
Ideally, all of these modern NASCAR Drivers, modern Formula One Driver, and all of these NBA, NHL, and MLB Players and Coaches in question; would never be fond of change, would never want to push the boundaries of social norms, and would want to be proponents of what earlier generations of people have done, and the ways, means, and cultures of earlier times.

Ideally, all of these modern NASCAR Drivers, modern Formula One Driver, and all of these NBA, NHL, and MLB Players and Coaches in question; would adopt the same haircut as yours truly, the proprietor of this very Blog. This hairstyle entails having a whole head of hair with bangs that conceal their foreheads:
As is always the case, who cares a hang about the spectrum of Sports and Fitness these modern NASCAR and Formula One had aspired to enter into before they discovered that they did not make the cut, and entering into the world of Automobile Racing was the only other line of work they had trained for during their childhood and adolescence, otherwise they would have had to enter an entirely new and different line of work; the spectrum of Sports and Fitness these NBA, NHL, and MLB Players in question, those who came before them, those who aspire to come after them, and those who actually do come after them had trained for during their childhood and adolescence before they made it into professional, major league Sports; and overall, Stick and Ball Sports, and Fitness being social norms?
And, as is also always the case; who cares a hang about cooking, eating at home, sitting at the table together as a family, associating with close, extended family; and nuclear families living on typical, small lots within typical subdivisions all being social norms?
