WIXC-AM’s Effective Radiated Power (ERP) is 50 Kw during the daytime, 5 Kw during the nighttime; and 17 Kw during Critical Hours.
Critical Hours is a radio engineering term for the time from sunrise to two hours after sunrise, and from two hours before sunset until sunset.
