Like Matt Kenseth’s longtime colleague Carl Edwards having abruptly retired prior to the beginning of the 2017 NASCAR Winston Cup season; I do not like another one of NASCAR’s modern hotshots-Matt Kenseth pondering retirement. Or yet, Joe Gibbs Racing announcing Matt Kenseth’s lodged retirement before Kenseth himself had announced that he is not retiring after all.
Carl Edwards’ Retirement From NASCAR
I do not want the modernization of NASCAR to be accelerated with their logo change for the first time since 1976, the new, zany sponsor of the Winston Cup Series; and the newest and youngest generation of drivers that were born after 1990 now competing in the Winston Cup Series; this modernization that had begun in 2001, that is.
Neither Carl Edwards nor Matt Kenseth should be allowed to retire until they’re about as antiquated as Ricky Rudd, Bill Elliott, Rusty Wallace, Cale Yarborough, David Pearson, Bobby Allison; and Richard Petty all were at the time they had retired.
I also don’t like Matt Kenseth inferring to NFL player Tom Brady, his present age; and him winning an icky, yucky Super Bowl at his present age with regards to Kenseth himself continuing to compete in NASCAR at the age of 45; as Matt Kenseth should comprehend that all sports, including Football and Basketball are icky and yucky.
Matt Kenseth Will Keep Racing If Tom Brady Keeps Winning Super Bowls
