However, in the olden days, during my time of NASCAR; even as recently as the 1990’s, just about anyone was able to obtain a garage pass for a race and mingle with whichever driver and pit crew member they pleased. And just about anyone was able to tour the facilities of a racing team, and visit with any driver they wished while they were visiting the facilities of the racing team; provided he was there at the same time the people visiting were.
Even though I am in support of the PBS television program ‘To The Contrary’ and Gloria Steinem championing the feminist movement, I am not at all in support of NASCAR’s Drive For Diversity initiative.
Besides the fact that NASCAR should forevermore continue to be the same as it was from the 1970’s-1990’s, the sport should also forevermore continue to be dominated by white males as drivers and members of the pit crew.
My theory towards NASCAR’s demographics are “If It Aint Broke, Don’t Fix It”. That is, once again; that NASCAR should forevermore continue to be the same as it was from the 1970’s-1990’s, the sport should also forevermore continue to be dominated by white males as drivers and members of the pit crew. And the fan base of NASCAR should continue to be dominated by car enthusiasts from the north and west, and Rednecks and Southern Belles from the Southeastern part of the country.
A Thomas Vista on the exclusive International 3600 chassis & cowl with the DT466.
This is how I would spec a Thomas Vista when they were new, no matter if I had ordered them as a smaller size, a wheelchair bus; or as a larger size-the 84 passenger model.
As I would spec a Thomas Vista with the DT466 no matter what, I would spec the smaller size and wheelchair buses with the Allison AT-545 transmission and the larger size with the Allison MT-643 transmission.

As I have already stated in another post, I am not fond of the Freightliner FS-65 chassis & cowl, but here is one of the last Thomas conventionals produced on the Freightliner chassis & cowl before the Safe-T-Liner C2 replaced their tried and true conventional body.
The Safe-T-Liner C2 is a symbol of Thomas’s integration of Daimler/Freightliner, and both the chassis & cowl and the body are designed to be as one produced by the same party, similar to a passenger car.
Their traditional tried and true conventional body harkened back to when they were independently owned and controlled by the family and descendants of Pearley Thomas (not by Daimler/Freightliner), and GM & Ford, alongside International each produced chassis & cowls for Thomas, alongside what was their 5 other competitors (Blue Bird, Carpenter, Ward/AmTran, Wayne; and Superior) to utilize by building conventional style School Bus bodies onto them.
Then Superior went out of business in 1980, Wayne went out of business in 1995, Carpenter went out of business in 2001, Ford decided to exit the Medium & Heavy-Duty truck business by selling it to Daimler/Freightliner to become Sterling and included their chassis & cowl business along with the sale; the GM chassis & cowl’s last decade in production was limited exclusively per an agreement with Blue Bird, International Harvester/Navistar had purchased Ward/Amtran as their own in-house School Bus body manufacturer in 1991, Daimler/Freightliner had purchased Thomas as their own in-house School Bus body manufacturer in 1998; and Blue Bird has gone through a series of ownership changes since the family and descendants of Albert Luce Sr. had sold Blue Bird in 1992.
Ideally, if I were to have my way, and professionally and not personally speaking; General Motors and Isuzu would each purchase a 50% stake in Blue Bird in a move similar to IH/Navistar having purchased Ward/AmTran and Daimler/Freightliner having purchased Thomas, and from this point on, Blue Bird products would be available exclusively on GM and Isuzu chassis. The conventional would be available strictly on a GMT560 Medium-Duty truck chassis & cowl and only with the Isuzu 6HK1 Diesel engine, the TC/1000 would be available strictly on a chassis based on the Isuzu Elf/N-Series EcoMax with the Isuzu 4JJ1 Diesel engine; the TC/2000 would be available strictly on a chassis based on the Isuzu Elf/NQR with the Isuzu 4HK1 Diesel Engine, and both the Front & Rear engine versions of the All American would be available strictly on chassis based on the Isuzu Forward/F-Series and available with the Isuzu 6HK1 diesel engine.

I would magically transform, with a magician’s power; NASCAR drivers Elliott Sadler, Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne, Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth and his son Ross, Regen Smith, and Brian Vickers; Indy Car Driver James Hinchcliffe, and Formula 1 drivers Nick Heidfeld, Dominik Kraiheimer; and Jenson Button from being fit, athletic; and mesomorphic to being corpulent and overweight.
Under my magical powers, all of these NASCAR, Indy Car; and Formula 1 drivers’ athletic abilities would evaporate.
Elliott Sadler, Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne, Brian Vickers, Matt Kenseth and his son Ross, James Hinchcliffe, Nick Heidfeld, and Jenson Button would no longer be able to play Basketball. Elliott Sadler, Kevin Harvick; and Matt Kenseth would also no longer be able to play Baseball. Elliott Sadler, Kevin Harvick, Matt Kenseth; and Kasey Khane would no longer be able to play Football. And Elliott Sadler, Kevin Harvick, Nick Heidfeld, Jenson Button; and Dominik Kraiheimer would no longer be able to play Soccer. Kevin Harvick would also no longer be able to wrestle.
Jimmie Johnson would no longer be able to competitively swim and participate in triathlons.
Carl Edwards would no longer be athletic, and would no longer be able to do his preposterous backflips, such as demonstrated in the video below:
Kevin Harvick would also no longer want his foundation to be in support of student athletes.
All of these race car drivers, no longer being athletic; would now want to spend hours hanging around a car dealership for the fun of it, would want to spend hours at a radio or television transmitter site, and would want to spend hours utilizing a ham radio. And all of these race car drivers would finally be able to get a life outside of anything sports and fitness-related.
These race car drivers, now being able to get a life outside of life outside of anything sports and fitness-related, could be envious of all the things an autistic person like me and the character on the television show ‘The Big Bang Theory’ whose name is Sheldon; can pull off. Autism is something that Elliott Sadler’s foundation and Jamie McMurray’s foundation is in support of.
These particular NASCAR drivers having to put up with me would be like having to tolerate the character named Sheldon from ‘The Big Bang Theory’ and Tony Stewart rolled into one.
Kasey Kahne and Jenson Button’s tattoos should also be removed, and I will be able to breathe easier once their tattoos are removed.
Elliott Sadler’s body would no longer be buff and mesomorphic, such as in the picture below:

If I could, I would magically control with a magician’s power Elliott Sadler, Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne, Brian Vickers, Matt Kenseth and his son Ross, James Hinchcliffe, Nick Heidfeld, and Jenson Button would no longer be able to play Basketball. Elliott Sadler, Kevin Harvick; and Matt Kenseth would also no longer be able to play Baseball. Elliott Sadler, Kevin Harvick, Matt Kenseth; and Kasey Khane would no longer be able to play Football. And Elliott Sadler, Kevin Harvick, Nick Heidfeld, Jenson Button; and Dominik Kraiheimer each to the point where they no longer like dressing to the nines, attending social events, and are no longer fond of loud music.
Also, if I could magically control with a magician’s power, I would also control Dale Earnhardt Jr. to the point where he no longer likes dressing to the nines, attending social events, and is no longer fond of loud music.
I personally don’t even like Jimmie Johnson having dressed up while starring in this commercial for Seiko watches:
I also don’t like Kevin Harvick dressing to the nines on some occasions:
With these race car drivers no longer fond of dressing to the nines, attending social events, no longer fond of loud music; they’ll want to come with me for a ride in a diesel Suburban or in a Volkswagen. listening to music like Kenny Rogers’s song from 1984 “Crazy”, Loggins & Messina’s song from 1972 “Angry Eyes”; and Hall & Oates songs from 1976 and 1981 titled “Rich Girl” and “Private Eyes”
Or, maybe all of these race car drivers will want to come with me for a ride on my own, personal School Bus, and not listening to any music at all, but rather; listing to the noise of the machinery made by the air brakes, the gasoline or diesel engine; and the Allison transmission.
