  • Thomas Built Buses Sponsorship In NASCAR

    April 25th, 2016

I commend Thomas Built Buses for sponsoring a car in NASCAR.

In this case, they are sponsoring Brad Keselowski driving the #2 car prepared by Penske Racing.

  • The Nissan Heritage Center-A Place That Arthur And His Parents During One Of Their Many Visits To Japan

    April 23rd, 2016

A place of great importance and of great interest to David, Jane, and Arthur Read-the Nissan Heritage Center; which the Reads visit during one of their many visits to Japan in the Arthur movie for adults.

The Nissan Heritage Center is also of great importance and of great interest to Ed, Millicent, and Mary Alice “Muffy” Crosswire. Ed himself is a dealer that sells Nissans, Toyotas, and Subarus under one roof at the same location in the United States.

The Crosswires visit the Nissan Heritage Center many times during their visits to Japan in the Arthur movie for adults.

A video of Jay Leno, one of many people who have a starring role in the Arthur movie for adults; visiting the Nissan Heritage Center.

  • Someone Who Owns a Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero In Early Life And Continuous Livelihood

    April 22nd, 2016

Somebody owns an V45W Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero in “Early Life And Continuous Livelihood” because it has the versatility and people carrying ability of a minivan, because they like Mitsubishi Motors’ proprietary technology such as Select Shift 4-wheel-drive, because they like the vehicle having the same V6 engine as a Chrysler minivan and because of that-being assured that it will get them from Point A to Point B as well as a Chrysler minivan would; because they like the lettering and graphics on the instrument cluster, transmission shifter, and transfer case shifter being typical of a Mitsubishi truck; and because they like the characteristics atypical of Mitsubishi Fuso engineering.

The people that own this vehicle never consider the engineers in Japan assigned to work on the V45W project, and the amount of hours Mitsubishi Fuso had spent developing and testing the V45W project before it had gone into production in 1991.

These seem to be very popular in Australia, and I don’t know why.

Link to a webpage on the Mitsubishi Motors Global website about the V45W Pajero/Montero:

    http://www.mitsubishi-motors.com/en/showroom/pajero/museum/top/index.html#his_2ndx

PBS television program MotorWeek’s review on the V45W Montero from 1992:

This vehicle still isn’t my cup of tea, but they did build these with the center-band two-tone paint job that I like for the Japanese Domestic Market.

  • Television Commercial For WNIC-FM From 1977

    April 22nd, 2016

Television commercial for WNIC-FM from 1977.

A commercial very similar to this one is what NPVT-FM runs on the television station around the same time period in the Arthur movie for adults, trying to increase the listenerrship in the Elmwood City area.

  • Television News Magazine That Was Locally Produced In-House By CFCF-TV

    April 22nd, 2016

One of the many television programs that CFCF-TV had locally produced in-house, Park Avenue Metro was a news magazine that was similar in fashion to 60 Minutes, 20/20, NBC’s Dateline, the CBC’s The Fifth-Estate; and the CTV Television Network’s W5.

This television program’s title was named after the Montreal Subway system’s station across the street from CFCF-AM-TV and CFQR-FM’s studios at 405 Ogilvy Avenue in Montreal.

  • WXYZ-TV Newscast From 1976

    April 21st, 2016

WXYZ-TV Newscast from 1976 anchored by Bill Bonds & John Kelley, and Marilyn Turner with the weather.

This newscast, along with WKBW-TV, CFCF-TV, WJBK-TV, WJW-TVWJKW-TV, WAGA-TV, and WITI-TV when they were owned by Storer Broadcasting and were CBS affiliates; WBTV-TV, and WCAX-TV; are the inspirations for NPVT-TV’s newscasts in the Arthur movie for adults.

This is how television, and especially local newscasts continue to be in the book that I wrote titled “Early Life And Continuous Livelihood”.

The preview features another pleasant throwback-a reminder by the Ford Motor Company for employees of the tractor plant in Birmingham, Michigan to report to work the following day:

    April 20th, 2016

A Thomas conventional style School Bus on the International 3800 chassis & cowl with the DT466 diesel engine and with the type of steel wheels for a Medium & Heavy-Duty truck that I like-the Dayton wheels rather than the more common Budd wheels.

I only like aluminum Budd wheels that are made by Alcoa, but not the atypical steel Budd wheels.
