  • NBA Player Steve Novak

    October 15th, 2016

NBA player Steve Novak, like many other athletes; should realize that Basketball, like any other sport; is icky and yucky. And Steve Novak should realize that the automotive world and the worlds of amateur/ham radio and commercial radio and television are more important and more interesting than the world of sports and fitness.

This also means that Steve Novak should realize just how much more important School Buses are than (icky, yucky) Basketball and also, fitness.

Also, NBA player Steve Novak; like many other athletes, actors, and models; should be transformed from being fit and muscular to being fat and overweight.

So grateful to be a part of the team I loved growing up! Honored to get to represent this great state of WI! @Bucks pic.twitter.com/yWIkoXpQzB

Another Rear Engine TC/2000 with the Cummins B-platform engine and the Allison MT-643 transmission.

Again, I would prefer if this bus had the Caterpillar 3116 in lieu of the Cummins B-platform.

  • GMC Introduces Sierra HD All Terrain X

    October 15th, 2016

General Motors had probably brought out this trim level on their Heavier-Duty pickup trucks to compete with the revived Power Wagon name on Dodge/Ram’s Heavier-Duty pickup trucks.

We are not interested in neither GM or Dodge/RAM’s off-road oriented trim levels on our own Heavier-Duty pickup that we will use to tow our Fifth-Wheel RV trailer.

GMC today introduced the 2017 Sierra HD All Terrain X, the most off-road-capable model in the Sierra HD lineup, and one that matches its enhanced capability with trail-ready style and the brand’s signature refinement.

  • One Of The Two Only 1/2 ton Pickup Trucks To Be Produced With A Big Block V8 Engine From The Factory

    October 14th, 2016

A Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup with a Big Block V8 from the factory, dubbed the “454 SS” as it’s trim level; is a sport pickup truck that is only one of two 1/2 ton pickup trucks to be produced with a Big Block V8 engine-the 454 cubic inch Big Block V8 engine. The 454 SS GMT400 pickup also featured the heavier-duty TH400 and it’s electronically-controlled, 4-speed successor: the 4L80-E; another rarity for a half-ton pickup, and the only other half-ton pickups and SUVs to feature the TH400 and the 4L80-E were those with the 6.2 and 6.5 Liter Diesel engines (both built by Detroit Diesel), also a rarity for a 1/2 ton pickup truck or SUV.

The 454 SS GMT400 pickup featured a combination of blacked out trim and red trim, to make it distinguishable from an ordinary GMT400 Regular Cab Short Bed pickup truck.

Also, one of my two favorite colors of a vehicle interior; Red (the other is Blue) , was the only way the 454 SS GMT400 pickup came as.

The only other 1/2 ton pickup to be built with a Big Block V8 from the factory is a performance-oriented version of the 1969-1972 generation of GM truck that was produced with the 402 or 427 cubic inch Big Block V8s.

    A picture of a GMT400 “454 SS” pickup truck:

    454 SS

Beginning in 1992, the 454 SS GMT400 pickups were also offered in Summit White and in Victory Red, in addition to the Onyx Black exterior color they were offered in from the very beginning. Also beginning in 1992, the 454 SS GMT400 pickup began to be offered with interior colors other than one of my personal favorite interior colors; Red. Below is a 1993 model pictured in Victory Red.

  • City Of Volgograd, Russia

    October 14th, 2016

You may have read about my interest in Russia/Soviet Union and in the Soviet Central Asian countries of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan; and Turkmenistan.

Travels To Places Like The Former Soviet Central Asian Countries And Xinjiang, China

    Kyrgyzstan

Siberian And Far Eastern Sections Of Russia

The City of Volgograd, Russia; once called Stalingrad from 1925-1961, when the administration of Nikita Khrushchev had changed the name of the city to it’s current name; had been called Tsaritsyn beginning in 1555 during the Czarist era, and up until 1925 during the Soviet era. You heard right, the city began to be called Tsaritsyn in the year 1555.

The European Trans-Continental Highway E40, beginning in Calais, France; passes through Volgograd, Russia; passes through the Soviet Central Asian countries of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyztsan; and ends in the Kazakh town of Ridder, located near the Kazakh-Chinese border. Calais, France is the highway’s Western Terminus; and Ridder, Kazakhstan is the highway’s Eastern Terminus.

The Motherland Statue, in Volgograd, Russia; has been declared the largest statue in the world, and is built in memoriam to the Battle of Stalingrad that had occurred during WWII to cripple the Nazi German advance into Stalingrad.

The beautiful and eye-catching Kazan Cathedral:

The Oblast Duma (Duma is the Russian word for government building):

    The Volgograd Regional History Museum:

The Cossack Theater, where entertainment is put on by Cossack peoples:

    Electrical lines for the Trolleybuses:

  • Public Surplus: Auction #1711978

    October 14th, 2016

I like just about everything about this bus-the body, the International 3800 chassis & cowl, the Dayton wheels; and I could make do with it having a Spicer 5-speed manual transmission in lieu of an Allison automatic transmission.

The one and only thing about this particular bus that I don’t like is that is that it has the T444 diesel engine and not the DT466 diesel engine.

  • NHL Player Rich Peverley

    October 13th, 2016

NHL player John Richard Peverley, known by many as Rich Peverley; is one of many men who I don’t like following the current trend of sporting a ridiculous Undercut haircut. And I don’t like Rich Peverley having worn many different haircuts throughout his career.

Rich Peverley, like many other athletes, actors, and models; should be transformed from being fit and muscular to being fat and overweight.

Rich Peverley should comprehend just how icky and yucky both Hockey and Soccer/Association Football, like any other sport is; and that the worlds of amateur/ham radio, commercial radio and television; and the automotive world are much more important and more interesting than the world of sports and fitness.
