I do not like Ford using their motorhome chassis to build a parade float on.
The motorhome chassis should only be used for its intended purpose-to build a motorhome on.
People should realize that the chassis is THE most important aspect of any bus, motorhome; or step van; that the concept of a commercial truck body built by a third-party manufacturer being installed on an OEM’s chassis is another important aspect of any bus, motorhome; or step van.
Ford using their motorhome chassis to build a parade float on is like how School Bus drivers should be barred from decorating the insides of School Buses and motorhome owners should be barred from decorating the inside of their motorhomes.
This especially holds true for School Bus drivers employed by the Warren Consolidated School district in Warren, Michigan; where they should have eternally been barred from decorating the inside of the buses that they’re assigned to drive, that School Bus drivers employed by this school district should also be barred from owning a Full-Size Pickup Truck, SUV, Van, or Station Wagon; and they should also be barred from owning a Volkswagen Polo, Ford Fiesta, Ford EcoSport, Volkswagen Golf/Jetta/GTI/G60/R32, Ford Focus, current-generation Ford Fusion/Mondeo, Volkswagen Passat, current-generation Ford Edge/Lincoln MKX, Ford Escape/Kuga, Volkswagen Tiguan, Ford Transit Connect, Fiat Doblo/Ram ProMaster City, Volkswagen Caddy, Lincoln MKZ, Audi A6, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Lincoln MKC, Audi Q3, an Audi Q5, an Opel/Buick Cascada, Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet; and a Volkswagen New Beetle Cabriolet, because they don’t have any respect for the tranquil and unflustered nature of a Full-Size truck or station wagon; and they also don’t have any respect for the European nature of the current-generation Ford products (including Lincolns), Volkswagens/Audis, Mercedes-Benzs; and the Opel/Buick Cascada.
Saying that School Bus drivers employed by the Warren Consolidated Schools school district would treat these vehicles as poorly as they do the buses that they’re assigned to drive, and they’ve always thought that the P-Chassis (that the Type B buses that the School District once owned) is a Chevy truck that is to be neglected just like the GM Full-Size pickup trucks and SUVs that some of those drivers own.
Shame for any other School District around the country and any School Bus contractor, such as the one in Kentucky that’s the subject of this incident Mother of School Bus Crash Victim: ‘I Complained About The Driver In August’ for treating School Buses and their personal vehicles like this.
How do you move the world’s longest and heaviest parade float and deliver the reliability needed for one of America’s storied parades? With a highly proven truck engine known for its hauling and towing capability – Ford’s legendary 6.8-liter V10 gasoline engine.
