A Ford Medium & Heavy-Duty truck dealer located in Lansing, Michigan that had transitioned to selling Sterling by Freightliner once Ford had sold that division to Daimler/Freightliner to become Sterling in 1996 alongside coeval Ford Light-Duty trucks, was, at one time; co-owned with the Curtis Ford passenger car dealership that was located in Lansing, Michigan, and was later sold at some point in time; where this dealership became known as ‘Central Ford Truck’ from that point forward.
Ironically, there is a Ford L-Series with a dump body owned and operated by the Michigan Department Of Transportation (MDOT) painted in Safety Orange driving right in front of this very dealership at the time these photos were taken. The Michigan Department Of Transportation, being based in Lansing, Michigan; could have very well likely taken delivery of this L-Series chassis & cab at this very dealership.
Though I don’t have any interest in the Freightliner FS-65 chassis & cowl, I am writing this post only because this Thomas conventional on the Freightliner FS-65 chassis & cowl because this bus has only nearly 57,000 miles on it for being a 2003 model, being 14 years old as of the time of writing this post.

I also didn’t like this young German lad having long hair prior to receiving his ridiculous Undercut haircut, and the stylist preparing to cut this young boy’s hair into a ridiculous Undercut haircut is a grueling occurrence in the making, like a person who is to receive the death penalty being prepared to be electrocuted on the electric chair or receive the drugs by the way of lethal injection.
This young German boy should instead be forced to wear his hair like the boy pictured below.

In the Arthur book and movie-both of which are geared towards adults, Randy LaJoie, along with Bill Elliott, all 4 of the Crosswire boys as they gradually age into being able to compete in the Winston Cup, Tony Stewart, Greg Biffle; and Clint Bowyer each drive for the Reads’ Winston Cup racing team throughout the 3 1/2 decades that this book and this movie both take place.

Like the Reads’ trucking company, the Biagis’ trucking company also specializes in over the road, long-haul transport; while the DenBestes’ trucking company specializes in transportation of hazardous waste.
