Abandoned Military Barracks located off of Middlebelt Road near Detroit-Wayne County International Airport in Romulus, Michigan from when the Michigan Air National Guard had a presence at this airport from 1930-1971.
When the Michigan Air National Guard had moved out of this airport in 1971 upon the 127th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing being reassigned to Selfridge Air Force Base, these aforementioned Military Barracks were abandoned; and have been left in an abandoned, decaying state ever since.

A Blue Bird Conventional on the Ford B-Series chassis & cowl that has been retired by the Public School District that once owned and operated it, and has since been repainted white; located in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
I am not sure if this Ford B-Series chassis & cowl is powered by a Gasoline or Diesel engine.
It appears that this Blue Bird Conventional is equipped with the four-light system and not the eight-light system.

After much speculation over the past year as of the time of writing this post over when General Motors will release their next-generation T1XX Full-Size Pickup Truck, I am very happy to hear that General Motors has released the Chevrolet-branded T1XX Pickup Truck at an event held at Texas Motor Speedway for Chevrolet-branded Pickup Truck and Full-Size SUV aficionados; and that the Chevrolet-branded T1XX Pickup Truck will be formally released at the 2018 Detroit North American International Auto Show.

As of the time of writing this post, I am very sad over the passing of former NASCAR team owner and Crew Chief Bud Moore-who was involved with the organization from shortly after WWII up until 1999; had passed away on November 27, 2017 at the age of 92.
During the war, Bud Moore had served in the Marines and had fought in the European portion of the war. I’m not sure if Bud Moore had fought in the Pacific portion of the war.
Bud Moore was involved in NASCAR during a better time in NASCAR’s history-when it was by car people for car people, did not try to become as appealing to the average person as traditional icky. yucky sports such as Basketball, American Football, Baseball, Ice Hockey, and Association Football/Soccer; drivers and members of the pit crew were not former stick and ball athletes, it didn’t matter as to how obese a driver or member of the pit crew was, and not as much money and glamour was involved with the organization.
During the bulk of Bud Moore’s time in NASCAR, there were no expensive motorhomes and Class 8 car haulers. Instead, drivers would drive in their own road car across the nation pulling their Stock Car on an open car trailer with their road car; and would stay in cheap motels along the way.

The obituary for Robert S. Rarey, an engineer for the Chrysler Corporation that had orchestrated the development of Chrysler’s B and RB Big Block V8 engines beginning in 1955.
Surprisingly, the family of Robert Rarey had donations towards his funeral directed towards the Autism Society of America.
