  • With Mach-E, Ford ensures Mustang badge will live on

    November 19th, 2019

via With Mach-E, Ford ensures Mustang badge will live on

Unlike the younger generation who the author of this article about the recently-introduced (as of the time of writing this post) Mustang Mach-E Pure EV CUV states does not carry the emotional baggage of an institutional vehicle such as Pony Cars like the Mustang, the Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird, and the Dodge Challenger; or true Sports Cars such as the Corvette, Nissan Z-Car, and the Toyota Supra; I, on the other hand, carry the emotional baggage of a particular vehicle, and know precisely what it is like to carry the emotional baggage of a particular vehicle.

If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you already know that I carry the emotional baggage of vehicles on the GM B and Ford Panther platforms, several pre-1999 Volkswagen and Audi models, several pre-1997 Mercedes-Benzs, several older Nissan and Toyota models-such as the S130-Z32 Z-Car, A70 Supra, Crown, Cedric/Gloria, Laurel, Cresta, Chaser, and Soarer-to name a few; the AMC Eagle, AMC-era XJ Cherokees and MJ Comanches, and School Buses.

  • Canadian Rower Mark Oldershaw

    November 15th, 2019

Canadian Rower Mark Oldershaw should not only be barred from having an Undercut haircut, or any other hairstyle that involves him wearing product in his hair; but Mark Oldershaw also needs to be transformed from being fit and muscular to being fat and overweight.

Mark Oldershaw also needs to comprehend that the automotive world as a whole, the world of amateur/ham radio, and the engineering side of commercial radio and television are all more important than the world of sports and fitness.

Furthermore, Mark Oldershaw should be forced to listen to Adult Contemporary, Jazz; and Easy Listening music; and Mark Oldershaw should also be barred from dressing to the nines.

  • Nissan’s EV crossover comes closer to reality

    October 29th, 2019

via Nissan’s EV crossover comes closer to reality

The Nissan Motor Corporation, as of the time of writing this post; is apparently moving further away from their corporate philosophy that consists of the L, Z, CA, SR, RB, VG, VQ, and TB Gasoline engines; and the SD, TD, RD, and CD Diesel engines; as well as their models such as the S130-Z32 Fairlady Z, R31-R33 Skyline, C32-C35 Laurel, H150-H250 President, 610-U14 Bluebird, B310-B15 Sunny; T12/T72 Auster/Stanza, F30-Y33 Leopard, Y31-Y33 Cima; and the 230-Y33 Cedric/Gloria.

And moving towards an entirely new Pure Electric Vehicle (EV) portfolio unlike anything the Nissan Motor Company had ever produced before ever since the company’s founding in 1914, its merger with Tokyu Kogyo Kurogane in 1962, its merger with the Prince Motor Company in 1966; and the merger with the Aichi Precision Company that had also occurred in 1966.

  • Why sedans are a sign of rebellion against SUVs

    October 29th, 2019

via Why sedans are a sign of rebellion against SUVs

While I may not appreciate the person who had written the article that is the subject of this very blog post referring to traditional Passenger Cars as “tattoos”, and I would like to rid the world of tattoos just as much as Shannon, Mary Agnes “Mag”, and Alison would; unlike many of the young people who the person who wrote this article had wrote would rather have their eyes poked out and their teeth pulled than be like their parents, I personally love being like my parents.

The person who wrote this article perceives CUVs and traditional Truck-based SUVs to be viewed in the eyes of the youngest generation of adults the same way first the traditional Station Wagon, and then the minivan have always been viewed; the downright practical vehicle that has largely been the vehicle of choice of parents.

Furthermore, the person who wrote this article feels that just as younger generations of people unwittingly receive tattoos, that the youngest generation of adults will likely feel that traditional Passenger Cars will have a cooler vibe than CUVs, traditional Truck-based SUVs; and certainly minivans.

  • Current State Of The Governing Body In The United Kingdom

    October 27th, 2019

The current state of the governing body of the United Kingdom-both the House of Lords and the House of Commons; is not unlike the fragile state the governing body of the United States is, as of the time of writing this post.

One thing is for certain-the monarchy will always be protected, and the marriages of both of HRH Diana, Princess of Wales and HRH Charles, Prince of Wales’ sons Harry and William, and both sons having offspring within this soon to be outgoing decade; will secure the future of the monarchy for eons to come, with there being so plans to abolish the monarchy and to allow for the United Kingdom and all nations that are members of the Commonwealth to become republics.

For more information regarding the so-called “Brexit” scenario, please see this earlier post:

  • CBS golf: McCord, Kostis won’t be returning to network for 2020

    October 26th, 2019

via CBS golf: McCord, Kostis won’t be returning to network for 2020

I am disappointed to hear that former PGA Tour player Gary McCord, and announcer Peter Kostis-both of whom had been hired by Neal Pilson; will not retain their jobs at CBS Sports once their contracts expire after this year (as of the time of writing this post).

Gary McCord and Peter Kostis had joined CBS Sports during a very good time in the network’s history-1986 when McCord had joined; and 1992 when Kostis had joined, respectively.

  • Older Sonoco Turned Independent Fuel Station In The Town Of Surrency, Georgia

    October 19th, 2019

An older Sunoco fuel station turned Independent fuel station on the town of Surrency, Georgia.

This station still even has the older-style fuel pumps from the 1970’s and 1980’s. These are the last generation of older-style mechanical fuel pumps before the computer-controlled, electronic counter, card-regarding, pay-at-the-pump fuel pumps began to emerge during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.
