The Historic Renault Assembly Plant In Billancourt, France; An Assembly Plant That Is Just As Historically Important As The Ford Motor Company River Rouge, Dearborn, Michigan, USA And Dagenham, England, United Kingdom Assembly Plants; And The Fiat Lingotto, Turin, Italy Assembly Plant.
Louis Renault had built his workshop in Billancourt prior to building his massive Assembly Plant in Billancourt that spanned the entirety of Seguin Island, and a portion of mainland Billancourt, France.
The Assembly Plant in Billancourt had assembled Tractors, prior to Tractor assembly having been moved to Renault’s Assembly Plant in Le Mans, France in 1920.
