Owning a GM B-platform Station Wagon, a Suburban, and a Volkswagen/Audi during the early 1990’s was, and still is more important than the sporting events that took place at this time that had been filmed in the videos below.
Furthermore, the person that had taken these videos on a VHS-C Video Camera, and had later digitized them; a so-called “superfan” of the game of Baseball; and a well-regarded Baseball catcher by the name of Zack Hample, needs to comprehend that the automotive world as a whole, the world of amateur/ham radio, and the engineering side of commercial radio and television are all more important than the world of sports and fitness.
And, Zack Hample should be barred from having a Buzzcut haircut; and shaving his head with a razor and shaving cream.

I do not like this particular episode of the television program that is networked on the CBS Television Network titled “Young Sheldon”, itself a spin-off of another television program-one that is long-running and is also networked on the CBS Television Network titled “The Big Bang Theory”; being about the father considering taking a higher paying and higher-profile coaching job for the Football team of a University in Oklahoma, and the remainder of the residency panicking over the possibility of them having to relocate from Texas to Oklahoma; or the father replacing his 3-quarter-ton Regular Cab Pickup Truck with a Pontiac Fierdo.
However, I do like this particular episode sending out the message to the general public that sports are bad whilst the automotive world, as a whole; is good, when the eldest son of the residency-a son who is a jock, takes a job at the neighbor’s automotive repair business; and vows to abandon sports against his father’s (also his High School’s athletic coach) wishes.
There should be an episode of the television program titled “Young Sheldon” where the storyline consists of the entire residency relocating from Texas to somewhere such as Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, Ohio; or even the vicinity of Charlotte, North Carolina; the world of Stock Car racing-seeking jock-type people who know less about cars and more about sports and fitness, and NASCAR vowing to be as appealing to the average person as Basketball, American Football, Baseball, and Ice Hockey beginning with its next-generation of drivers; the eldest child of the residency by the name of George “Georgie” Cooper Jr, takes on the opportunity to become one of the next-generation of NASCAR drivers who change and modernize NASCAR for the worse, and gets into Full-Sized Midget Car Racing against the will of his mother and with the full support of his father. The Evil Iacocca guest stars in this particular episode where once the residency arrives in the vicinity of Charlotte, North Carolina; the Evil Iacocca tries to persuade the residency to ditch their beloved Full-Size Body-On-Frame Station Wagon for one of his paltry minivans, and also tries to persuade Sheldon’s grandmother to ditch her beloved Cadillac-branded GM B-platform Sedan for one of his paltry K-Cars. the residency, already having any knowledge of the Evil Iacocca’s paltry minivans being spurious to the T3 Volkswagen Transporter/Vanagon and his paltry K-Cars being spurious to vehicles that Volkswagen produces on their A, B, and C platforms; politely declines the Evil Iacocca’s offer, and the residency eventually finds themselves replacing their Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park Station Wagon with either a T3 Volkswagen Transporter/Vanagon or a B2 Volkswagen Passat/Quantum Station Wagon. the residency also finds themselves having an affinity for CBS Television affiliate WBTV-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina; and WBTV’s radio parent-longtime CBS Radio affiliate and 50 kilowatt I-A Clear Channel station WBT-AM, also in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The owner of this blog and the author of this particular post personally loves Volkswagens/Audis just as much as he loves the Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park Station Wagon that George Sr. and Mary Cooper drive in this television program, and the Cadillac-branded GM B-platform Sedan that Sheldon’s grandmother drives.

I find it to be cockeyed that the vehicle created by the evil Iacocca to copy Volkswagen-a Plymouth Reliant or Dodge Aires to be placed into a junkyard next to an example of my personal favorite minivan that Lee Iacocca and Hal Sperlich had copied when developing the K-car Chrysler minivan-the T3 Transporter/Vanagon.
I would have rather that the vast majority of the American public bought Volkswagens/Audis than their K-Car imitations, such as people buying a Sirocco/Corrado instead of a Dodge Daytona/Chrysler Laser, a Golf or a Rabbit pickup instead of the Simca-influenced Omni/Horizon, Rampage car-based Pickup Truck, and a Sundance/Shadow; a Jetta instead of a Reliant/Aires and an Acclaim/Spirit, an A1 Golf/Rabbbit-based Cabriolet instead of a K-Car LeBaron Convertible, an Audi Coupe instead of a LeBaron coupe, a B2 Volkswagen Passat/Quantum, a B3 Passat, or an Audi 80/90/4000 instead of a K-car Dodge 600/Plymouth Caravelle/Chrysler E-Class, Dodge Dynasty, and Chrysler New Yorker; an Audi 100/200/5000 instead of a K-Car Fifth Avenue and Imperial, and of course-a T3 Vanagon or a T4 EuroVan instead of Chrysler’s paltry minivans.
I do not appreciate the person writing to the evil Iacocca as stated in the letter below stating that she has been praying to god over the well-being of the Chrysler Corporation. I would rather that this person had instead prayed for the well-being of Volkswagen of America, the well-being of the sales of the French automakers Renault, Peugeot, and Citroen in the United States; the well-being of conventional frame-on-body Full-Size American cars on the GM B and Ford Panther platforms, the well-being of the Full-Size Vans produced by each of the Detroit 3 automakers; and the well-being of traditional 2-door Full-Size Utility Vehicles being the K5 Blazer/2-door Tahoe, Ford Bronco, and the Dodge Ramcharger/Plymouth TrailDuster; and last-the well-being of the Chevrolet/GMC Suburban.
Little do the Evil Iacocca, and Hal Sperlich both know that I could design and engineer that would be many more times better engineered than their paltry minivans, and would be built like both a Truck and a European Car. And little do the people who were a part of General Motors management and Board of Directors during the 1980’s and 1990’s comprehend that I could design and engineer a minivan that would be many more times better than their paltry Chevrolet Lumina APV/Venture/Uplander, Pontiac Trans Sport/Montana, Oldsmobile Silhouette, Buick Terraza, and Saturn Relay minivans; and also their paltry Pontiac Aztek and Buick Rendezvous Crossover Utility Vehicles; but equally good as or even better than the Chevrolet Astro/GMC Safari.
That minivan is my idea for a minivan based off the Subaru Legacy/Outback that would highly target the Nissan Elgrand, Toyota Alphard, Volkswagen Transporter, Renault Trafic, and the Mercedes-Benz Vito/Viano/V-Class/Metris; would be styled by one of the major Italian automotive design firms such as Italdesign Giugiaro or Bertone; and would be as overengineered as Mercedes Passenger Cars once were prior to the late 1990’s.
For more information on my Subaru Legacy/Outback-based van project, please see this earlier post about how I would personally run General Motors:
An Opel/Holden/Vauxhall/Subaru Van On The Legacy/Outback Platform
The evil Iacocca was also responsible for the equally paltry Ford Pinto during his long tenure with the Ford Motor Company, prior to him being fired by the Ford Motor Company. Not too long after his firing from the Ford Motor Company was when he was hired by the Chrysler Corporation when Chrysler needed a new Chairman after the short tenure of John Riccardo as the Chairman of Chrysler, after Riccardo, in turn; had served as the right-hand man during Lynn Townsend’s long tenure as the chairman of the Chrysler Corporation.

The author of this article couldn’t have said it any better-the K-Car platform consists of some of the many cars ever inflicted upon humanity.
Ditto with the author of this article, and I have to add that the same goes for Ford’s CE14 and D186 platforms, and General Motors’ J, N, Front Wheel Drive H, U, Front Wheel Drive A and its successive W platforms.
Lee Iacocca had wrongfully copied Volkswagen with every K-Car variant ever produced, and Lee Iacocca had also wrongfully copied the T3 Volkswagen Transporter/Vanagon with Chrysler’s own minivans.
For instance, Lee Iacocca haw wrongfully copied the Golf/Jetta/GTI with the Plymouth Reliant/Dodge Aires and their successors-the Plymouth Acclaim/Dodge Spirit, and also with the Plymouth Sundance/Dodge Shadow; had wrongfully copied the Sirocco/Corrado with the Dodge Daytona/Chrysler Laser, had wrongfully copied the 1980’s and early 1990’s Audi 2-door coupe models with the 1986-1995 Chrysler LeBaron 2-door
Coupe and Convertible; and had also wrongfully copied the Audi B3 and C3 platforms with the Dodge Dynasty, Chrysler New Yorker; and early 1990’s Chrysler New Yorker Landau and Fifth-Avenue.It’s only fitting that this crummy, horrible K-Car be given a proper send off by competing in the so-called “LeMons” race.

For those of you who are not in the know, and are not from the United Kingdom; ITV, along with Channel 4 are the UK’s two private television network’s; as opposed to the BBC’s television service; along with it’s domestic radio service and international radio (World Service); are owned, operated; and controlled directly by the British government.
Below is a video of ITV promos and identifications from December, 1989.
Occurrences in the United Kingdom in the year 1989 that are as equally important as ITV running these promos and identifications as of this time are: Land Rover having introduced the Discovery, and the Discovery having gone into production for the very first time this year; how many Range Rovers Land Rover had sold this year, this being the last year that the conventional Land Rover would be known as the Ninety & One Ten before it would be given an actual name-Defender a year later; how many conventional Land Rovers the company had sold this year; the Honda/Acura Legend-based Rover 800 passenger car having replaced the SD1 (which had shared many parts with the Range Rover) a few years earlier in 1986; how many cars Volkswagen/Audi had sold in the UK this year (including Golfs, Passats; and Transporters), and how many cars Daimler-Benz had sold in the UK this year (including UK sales of the W201, W140; and W126).
Furthermore, more occurrences in the United Kingdom in the year 1989 that are as equally important as ITV running these promos and identifications as of this time are: how many Fiestas, European Escorts, Sierras, Scorpios, Transits; and P100s Ford’s European arm had sold in the UK this year.

I sort of like this current Volkswagen commercial, with the Volkswagen Type 1, A1 Golf/Rabbit, one of my favorite generations of Passat as a wagon-the B3; and one of my favorite generations of Golf as a Cabriolet-the A3.
As you know if you’ve been following this blog for a while, I am not fond of modern commercials, period; and end of story.
Also, I would prefer that the children sit in the front seat rather than the backseat.
-
One of my favorite generations of Passat-the B3 as the wagon/estate variant, and a Ford Cargo Medium-Duty truck both located in Belgorod, Russia.
The Ford Cargo was jointly developed by Iveco, and in the United States; it had supplanted the Ford C-Series cabover model that was produced from 1957-1990.
Located next door to these vehicles is a very typical version that you would find in any rural Russian or Ukrainian village-an elderly woman wearing a head scarf doing work outside of her home.

More Volkswagen material that’s pertinent to the production of the Arthur movie for adults.
-
Website with information pertaining to the A2 Golf/Jetta.
This information will be critical during the production of the Arthur movie for adults with regards to drawing the animated A2 Golf, A1 Golf Cabriolet, Corrado, and T3 Transporter/Vanagon that Arthur’s parents own, replicating the Volkswagen gasoline and diesel engine sounds; and replicating the Volkswagen chime when the ignition switch is turned.

A B3 Passat wagon (one of my favorite generations of Passat, alongside the B2) in Finnmark, Norway-located in the northernmost section of the country near the northern Finnish and Russian borders.
