I am very happy to hear that Radio remains the favorite medium among the masses, and the body politic; according to an Article by the Radio & Television Business Report, a Trade Publication for the Broadcasting Industry.

Not too long ago (as of the time of writing this post), I wrote the earlier post: How Happy I Am That Several Members Of The United States Congress Are Proponents Of AM/Mediumwave Radio.
As of the day of writing this post, it appears that an An Alternate ‘AM Radio For Every Vehicle Act’, introduced by a member of the House of Representatives from New Jersey.
The Article published by the Radio & Television Business Report chronicles the differences between the two Bills:
-
For whatever reason; young, radical Radio audiences seem to be gravitating towards the Regional Mexican Radio format.
-
I am happy (so happy, you could say I am tickled pink) over several members of the United States Congress being proponents of AM/Mediumwave Radio.

Shari Lewis’s daughter Mallory Tarcher-Lewis, Mallory’s ex-husband Brad Hood, an Off-Road Automobile Racer; both of whom are Skydivers; should take note of the fellow Skydivers who have illicitly utilized frequencies on the Radio Spectrum allocated for Amateur/Ham use for inter-communication while in the Air, and once they’ve landed on the ground.
Shari Lewis, and my paternal grandmother were both kindred spirits. Besides them both having high moral standards, they were both crafty people. They were both into Painting and Doll-making. However, their shared interest in Painting and Doll-making is where aforementioned similarities end. My paternal grandmother was also into Pottery and Ceramic-making, while Shari Lewis was into Sewing and Knitting.
Shari Lewis would be open to listening to an AM/FM/SW Radio Receiver, DXing Shortwave Radio Stations, and distant AM/Mediumwave Radio Stations from all corners of the world. My paternal grandmother was also into Shortwave listening, as she, at first had a Realistic AM/FM/SW Receiver; and then a Sony ICF-SW1000S. Information on the Sony ICF-SW1000S, and ICF-SW1000T AM/FM/LW/SW/Single Side Band Receivers can be found in the following link: https://www.dxing.com/rx/icfsw100.htm
I, myself am into the whole nine yards as far as my passion for Radio is concerned: Shortwave listening, AM/Mediumwave listening, Longwave listening, DXing, Broadcasting History; and the Broadcast Radio and Television Industry, including the the past, present, and future of the Broadcast Radio and Television Industry.
Shannon and Ray could have introduced us to Shari Lewis, her husband Jeremy Tarcher, and her sister and brother-in-law Judith and Steve Krantz. They knew Shari, Judith, and their family by the way of a Book Store on Bloor Street in the Toronto city proper in Ontario, Canada; and Judith and Steve owned a Book Store a couple doors down on Bloor Street from Shannon & Ray’s friends.
If Shannon, Ray, Shari Lewis, Judith Krantz, and their husbands had en masse come to visit us and my paternal grandmother at our house; Shari Lewis could have joined my paternal grandmother and I on listening to Shortwave Radio Stations at any time of day (even during the night), and DXing distant Longwave and AM/Mediumwave Radio Stations during the nighttime hours.
I’m sure Shari Lewis would enjoy listening to Shortwave Radio Stations based everywhere the entire world over, and DXing distant Longwavce and AM/Mediumwave Radio Stations as much as my paternal grandmother did; and I always have, and always will.

Decent Bungalow-Style Home With A Sizable Outbuilding, Both Of Which Are Situated On A Sizable Amount Of Property In Lebanon, Ohio; Located Near The WLW-AM Transmitter Site In Mason, Ohio; And the Crosley/Voice Of America Shortwave Transmitter Site In Bethany/West Chester, Ohio:

Transportation Department And School Bus Garage Of Mason City Schools, The Public School District Serving The Area In Ohio Where The WLW-AM Transmitter Site In Mason, Ohio; And The Crosley/Voice Of America Transmitter Site In Bethany, West Chester, Ohio Are Both Located.
As of 2022, Mason City Schools seems to have Blue Bird, Thomas, and Ward/AmTran/IC Conventional and Transit-style School Buses in their fleet.
The Transportation Department and School Bus Garage of Mason City Schools seems to be based in a building that was built in a more recent time (as of the time of writing this post), likely due to the population boom as a result of the Mason-West Chester area becoming urbanized after the ceasing of operations, and the decommission of the Crosley/Voice of America Shortwave Transmitter Site in West Chester in 1994; resulting in the local population, and the student body both increasing in size, and the need for Mason City Schools to increase the size of their Fleet of School Buses.
See this earlier post about how I, the owner of this very Blog; don’t like the Detroit suburb of Avon Township/Rochester Hills, Michigan becoming urbanized in the 1980’s and the early 1990’s; and the vicinity of Mason and Bethany/West Chester in Ohio becoming urbanized in the mid-late 1990’s, the entirety of the 2000’s, and during the early 2010’s; and how I wish that both areas in Michigan and in Ohio would forevermore remain bucolic: Urbanized Areas

Television Commercial For Country-Formatted FM Radio Station In Baltimore, Maryland WPOC-FM (Nee WFMM-FM) From 1992, Featuring One Of My Favorite Country Music Artists Reba McEntire.
At this time, WPOC-FM was owned and operated by Nationwide Communications; a subsidiary of Nationwide Insurance. Nationwide Insurance would exit the Broadcasting business in 1998, with the sale of all of their Radio Stations.
By 1994, Nationwide had sold all of their Television Stations.
It was Nationwide who had installed the Country Music format on WFMM-FM, and changed the call letters to the current WPOC-FM.
Nationwide, for a while; had also affiliated WPOC-FM with the ABC Radio Information Network.
