After much speculation over the past year as of the time of writing this post over when General Motors will release their next-generation T1XX Full-Size Pickup Truck, I am very happy to hear that General Motors has released the Chevrolet-branded T1XX Pickup Truck at an event held at Texas Motor Speedway for Chevrolet-branded Pickup Truck and Full-Size SUV aficionados; and that the Chevrolet-branded T1XX Pickup Truck will be formally released at the 2018 Detroit North American International Auto Show.

A Buick-branded GM B-platform Station Wagon in a very sad state of being crushed in a junkyard in Detroit city proper, and being recycled for its raw materials-scrap metal, plastic; and aluminum:

Though I’ve never been fond of General Motors’ Medium-Duty Trucks while I’ve always been fond of Ford and IH/Navistar’s Medium-Duty Trucks; General Motors is getting back into the Class 4 and 5 Truck business albeit being a joint venture with Navistar and not designing and producing these trucks on their own.
These new General Motors Class 4 and 5 Trucks will essentially be just an International Terrastar with a K2XX or T1XX Regular or Crew Cab Pickup Truck cab.

Not only is this the other generation of General Motors Full-Size truck that is near and dear to my heart-the GMT400, that is; and this is the bodystyle of GM Full-Size truck Our Diesel Suburban And Diesel 2-Door Tahoe In Early Life And Continuous Livelihood, but is also the bodystyle of GM Full-Size truck the 1989 diesel K30 Extended Cab Pickup, 1994 diesel K5 Blazer; and 1994 K2500 diesel Suburban that Arthur and his parents own in the Arthur Movie Geared Towards Adults And Not Children.

A GMT400 K5 Blazer (would be later renamed the Tahoe beginning with the 1995 model year as the name ‘Blazer’ would be used only on the smaller S-10 based model from 1995 onwards) with my Red interior located in Warren, Michigan near the border of Detroit city proper:

This car, along with the 5-door notchback version that General Motors sells in the North American market as the ‘Regal GS’; is Opel/Vauxhall’s (former General Motors Europe) competitor to the Ford Fusion/Mondeo 5-door notchback and station wagon, Volkswagen Passat, Renault Talisman, Citroen C5; and the Peugeot 508.

I do not approve of General Motors soliciting the Camaro-what has been an awful Sports Car since its introduction in 1967 when compared to the Nissan Fairlady Z, Toyota Supra, Mazda RX-7, Volkswagen Sirocco/Corrado; and the Audi TT; being solicited by General Motors as the model it will field in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series starting with the 2018 season.
General Motors should instead solicit the Malibu as the model that it fields in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, just like how Toyota solicits its competitor-the XV70 Camry as the model it fields in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series; and Ford solicits the Fusion/Mondeo as the model that it fields in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series.

As you may figure by now if you’ve been following this blog for a while; vehicles such as GM B-platform Station Wagons, Suburbans, 2 and 4-door Tahoes/Jimmys/Yukons; Centurion Broncos and stock 2-door Broncos and the Expedition/Navigator that had succeeded them; and the Dodge Ramcharger/Plymouth TrailDuster are immeasurably important to me.
I am stunned to hear that as of now, General Motors finally feels the need to produce a trim level of the current-generation K2XX Tahoe with a starting price that’s even lower than that of the LS model.
