via With Mach-E, Ford ensures Mustang badge will live on
Unlike the younger generation who the author of this article about the recently-introduced (as of the time of writing this post) Mustang Mach-E Pure EV CUV states does not carry the emotional baggage of an institutional vehicle such as Pony Cars like the Mustang, the Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird, and the Dodge Challenger; or true Sports Cars such as the Corvette, Nissan Z-Car, and the Toyota Supra; I, on the other hand, carry the emotional baggage of a particular vehicle, and know precisely what it is like to carry the emotional baggage of a particular vehicle.
If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you already know that I carry the emotional baggage of vehicles on the GM B and Ford Panther platforms, several pre-1999 Volkswagen and Audi models, several pre-1997 Mercedes-Benzs, several older Nissan and Toyota models-such as the S130-Z32 Z-Car, A70 Supra, Crown, Cedric/Gloria, Laurel, Cresta, Chaser, and Soarer-to name a few; the AMC Eagle, AMC-era XJ Cherokees and MJ Comanches, and School Buses.

It seems odd to yours truly, the owner of this very blog; that the technology for Hybrid and Pure Electric Vehicles would come a long enough way to be feasible enough to power a Pickup Truck, given the tasks-whether for Pleasure or for Business; that a Pickup Truck is expected to do.

Just the way I prefer a Front-Wheel-Drive Automatic Transaxle to be designed, the same way Europeans prefer an Automatic Transaxle to be designed- a Semi-Automatic Manual Transmission.

A Panther platform Mercury Grand Marquis Sedan located in the Detroit suburb of Warren, Michigan.
The 4-door Sedan was the only bodystyle the 1991-2011 Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis were produced in, as the 2-door Coupe was discontinued in the late 1980’s, and the Station Wagon was discontinued after 1990; as Ford chose to not produce their traditional frame-on-body Full-Size Passenger Car platform as a Station Wagon any longer.
General Motors, however; continued to produce the final generation of Passenger Cars on the GM B-platform as Station Wagon right up until General Motors had discontinued this platform in 1996.

You have got to be kidding me that a engine can be designed and built to produce this much horsepower from the factory.
I am, however; not surprised by the amount of torque this engine puts out, though.

A Thomas Conventional on the Ford B-Series chassis and cowl that was built atop one of the last Ford B-Series chassis and cowls that Thomas had in their pool of chassis awaiting their bodies to be installed on them, as Ford had just exited the Medium and Heavy-Duty Truck and School Bus chassis and cowl market at this time, had sold their Medium & Heavy-Duty Truck division to Daimler/Freightliner to become Sterling, Freightliner had just introduced their own FS-65 chassis and cowl; and Ford and Daimler/Freightliner had entered into an agreement where Ford may not produce anymore Medium and Heavy-Duty Trucks and School Bus chassis and cowls at this time for a certain amount of years.
As of the time of writing this post, that agreement has since expired.
