Remembering Dennis Hamlin: A Life Impacted by Tragedy

Denny Hamlin’s father Dennis Hamlin had passed away from being caught in a House Fire on December 30, 2025.

If Denny Hamlin’s father, Dennis Hamlin, was truly a good father, he would have discouraged his son from pursuing Sports and Fitness, including Basketball and participating in the modernization of the PGA Tour and Golf. He would have never permitted his son to have a Buzzcut or an Undercut Haircut. Neither he nor his son would have engaged with their community, and his son would not have embraced modernity. His son would have never, ever rejected the customs, traditions, and ways of his ancestors, and would avoid associations with peers his own age. They would not connect with close extended family, only with distant relatives. He would pull his son out of school on any weekday to visit Car dealerships. He would instill in his son the belief that figures like Rusty Wallace and Sterling Marlin are the true representatives of NASCAR, not basketball players like his son. He would emphasize the superiority of Automobiles over Sports and Fitness. He would discourage family meals at home, opting instead to take his son out to eat more frequently. Ultimately, he would encourage his son to become overweight, fostering the belief that being obese and overweight is significantly more attractive than being fit, muscular, sculpted, and shredded.
