Louis Renault had built his workshop in Billancourt prior to building his massive Assembly Plant in Billancourt that spanned the entirety of Seguin Island, and a portion of mainland Billancourt, France.

The Assembly Plant in Billancourt had assembled Tractors, prior to Tractor assembly having been moved to Renault’s Assembly Plant in Le Mans, France in 1920.
