Following Up From This Earlier Post: In Addition To Them Being White Trash, Reality Television Stars Paul Teutul Sr. And Jr., And Michael Teutul Make Up A Portion Of An Awful Family, They Need To Comprehend How Much More Important The Broadcasting Industry (Including ABC, WABC-AM, WPLJ-FM, And WABC-TV), Station Wagons, School Buses, Tractors, And Electric Fans Are Than Motorcycles, Metalworking, Blacksmithing, Weightlifting, And Bodybuilding; And The Teutul Boys Also Need To Comprehend How Much More Important Amateur/Ham Radio Is Than Sports And Fitness. They Have Quite A Bit In Common With All The Relatives I’ve Had, And Still Have Zero Intention Of Ever Interacting With; The Teutul Family Also Needs To Comprehend That WOR-FM/WXLO-FM/WRKS-FM Being A Pioneering FM Radio Station; Having First Gone On The Air In 1939 As APEX Station W2XWI, And The History Of WLIB-FM/WBLS-FM Are More Important Than Them Listening To These FM Radio Stations In The New York City Market Just To Get Their Hard Rock, Urban Contemporary, And Hip-Hop Fixes.
The fact that WOR-AM and W2XWI/W2XOR/W71NY/WOR-FM/WXLO-FM-WRKS-FM were both put on the air by the Bamberger Department Store; were later owned and operated by RKO General, and like most, but not all of RKO General’s AM and FM Radio Stations; were programmed by Bill Drake and Gene Chenault with their “Boss” Top 40 Format, and had played Jingles composed by Johnny Mann; during the tail end of the FM Station having the WOR-FM call letters, and the “OR-FM” moniker at this time; and later, as WXLO; are also more important than the Teutul family listening to WOR-FM/WXLO-FM/WRKS-FM to get their Hard Rock, Urban Contemporary, and Hip-Hop fixes.
