I Understand That I Am Several Weeks Late Following His Passing As Of The Time Of Writing This Post, But I Am Writing To Express My Deep Sorrow Regarding The Passing Of One Of My Favorite Jazz Musicians, Chuck Mangione.

Chuck Mangione’s music was used by ABC Sports during their telecasts of the 1980 Winter Olympic Games that were held in Lake Placid, New York. These Olympic Games are remembered by many due to the United States Ice Hockey Team beating out the Russian/Soviet Ice Hockey Team.

Moreover, Chuck Mangione’s music was also used by ABC Sports during their telecasts of the 1984 Summer Olympic Games that were held in Los Angeles, California.

Chuck Mangione’s song from 1977 titled “Maui Waui”, and his 1980 song titled “Give It All You Got”, are my favorites out of all of Chuck Mangione’s songs.
