Newt Gingrich, along with a bevy of other Conservative Republicans, including Dick Armey; with their purported “Contract With America”, were responsible for winning a majority victory in the aftermath of the 1994 Midterm Election for the United States House of Representatives, Senate; and several U.S States’ Governorships.

Newt Gingrich is also largely responsible for igniting the partisanship and political polarization in modern times that continue well into the present day.

I, the owner of this very Blog; not only wish that the Democratic Party was able to hold majorities in the House of Representatives, and in the Senate following the 1994 United States Midterm Elections; but also that Al Gore had won the Electoral Vote following the 2000 Presidential Election, and either Al Gore was reelected, or John Kerry was elected following the 2004 Presidential Election; that Hillary Clinton was elected following the 2016 United States Presidential Election, and that Kamala Harris was elected following the 2024 United States Presidential Election.
