The Current News Director Of WTVT-TV In Tampa, Florida; Who Has Been With The Station Since 1987 When It Was A CBS Affiliate, Is Retiring In The Near Future (As Of The Time Of Writing This Post). His name is John Hoffman.

I don’t know if he actually did, but to blind eyes and deaf ears; but John Hoffman could have and should have pushed back at the idea WTVT-TV becoming a FOX affiliate; at the same time the ex-Storer Television Stations in Detroit, Cleveland, Atlanta, and in Milwaukee each became FOX affiliates in 1994.

Had John Hoffman pushed back at the idea WTVT-TV becoming a FOX affiliate, he would have been instrumental this Television Station retaining it’s affiliation with CBS Television well into the present day. That, along with the ex-Storer Stations remaining CBS Television affiliates well into the present day would be greatly appreciated by yours truly; the owner of this very Blog.
