I Am Saddened By The Death Of Former Scripps-Howard Executive Larry Leser.

Larry Leser was employed by the company when they had purchased WXYZ-TV from ABC, itself; when the merged ABC/Capital Cities had to sell off certain legacy ABC and Capital Cities Radio and Television Stations in order for the merged ABC/Capital Cities to stay within the FCC’s imposed limit for the maximum amount of Radio and Television Stations an individual or a business may own; and also, when the company had sold off the last of it’s Radio Stations in 1993: WMC-AM-FM in Memphis, Tennessee; and KUPL-AM-FM in Portland, Oregon.
