The fact that the Beasley Broadcast Group (a Company that a good friend of mine and former ABC Radio Executive, Allen Shaw; had worked in the mid-late 1980’s, and had sat on the Board of Directors of from the mid-2010’s up until 2022), upon purchasing AM/Mediumwave Station WAEC-AM (nee WERD-AM), a pioneering Station with regards to airing programming centric to the local African-American population is concerned (in this case, the local African-American population of Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America); is disheartening.

Especially when the Congress of the United States of America, and activists such as yours truly, a proponent of terrestrial Longwave, AM/Medumwave, FM, and Shortwave Radio; are working to keep AM/Mediumwave Radio around for a long time to come.
