I am happy to hear that Dawn Ichikawa, widow of the founder and leader of Tower Broadcasting, by the name of Gordon Ichikawa; is willing and able to continue her late husband’s legacy.
I just wish that Ken Squier’s daughters Ashley and, and his stepchildren from his marriage to his second and final wife; Elizabeth Squier (nee Bergen) would want to continue Ken’s legacy, retain ownership of Ken’s Radio Stations WDEV-AM-FM, WLVB-FM, WCVT-FM, and WEXP-FM; and Ken’s Radio Ownership Group company that Ken had founded after 1993 (when Ken had expanded his Radio ownership portfolio beyond WDEV-AM, the Radio Station that his father Lloyd had put on the air in 1931); the Radio Vermont Group.
See these earlier posts regarding the death of my good friend Ken Squier, and the sale of Ken’s Radio Stations by his Estate, and his daughter Ashley: I Am Deeply Saddened By The Recent Passing (As Of The Time Of Writing This Post) Of My Personal Friend And CBS NASCAR Broadcaster Ken Squier, and Ken Squier’s Family Having Sold His Radio Stations WDEV-AM-FM, WCVT-FM, And WLVB-FM; And Bill France Sr. Having Personally Selected Ken Squier To Found The Motor Racing Network (MRN).
