Tom Kent, the Host of one of many Syndicated Radio Shows aimed towards an audience of Class 8 Tractor-Trailer Drivers that are able to receive the Skywave signals of certain AM/Mediumwave Stations during the nighttime hours; titled the “Truckin’ Tom Radio Show”.

I, the owner of this Blog; fondly remember the late night shift, and Radio Show of Bruce Dale Sommers; known on the Air as “The Truckin’ Bozo”, one of the many local and syndicated Radio Shows aimed towards an audience consisting of Class 8 Tractor-Trailer Drivers that were able to receive the Skywave signal of WLW-AM during the nighttime hours. Bruce Dale Sommers had played Country Music on his “The Truckin’ Bozo” Radio Show on WLW-AM.

In 2004, Bruce Dale Sommers had left WLW-AM; and had moved his Radio Show to Sirius XM Satellite Radio on their “Open Road” Channel until June, 2012; two months before his passing.

Bruce Dale Sommers had passed away in August, 2012.
