I am very saddened over the recent passing (as of the time of writing this post) of KLOS-FM (nee KABC-FM) Disc Jockey and ABC Radio Employee Jim Ladd.

Allen Shaw, a good friend of mine; and one-time ABC Radio Executive; had hired Jim Ladd to work at KLOS-FM during the transition from KABC-FM to KLOS-FM in 1971.
