A big wig of the Irish Republican Army, also a Northern Irishman of Italian descent; by the name of Fred “Freddy” Scappaticci, had passed away in April, 2023.

Fred “Freddy” Scappaticci was one of the most talked about personnel members of the Irish Republican Army (IRA) for the entirety of the 1980’s, and during the early 1990’s.

Scappaticci, a double agent by Great Britain’s MI5 Agency under the alias “Stakeknife” and also by the Irish Republican Army; was one of the IRA’s most ruthless killers, even to other members of the IRA during the 1980’s and the early 1990’s.

One of the things that led Scappaticci to murder fellow members of the IRA, is if he found out about other IRA members serving as informants to British and/or Irish Intelligence Agencies.
