I am very saddened by the death of Film Director and Actor Sidney Poitier.

Sidney Poitier had also served in the United States Army, was also an activist, and an ambassador for colored People and other minorities working int the Motion Picture Industry.

Moreover, Sidney Poitier deserved the Presidential Medal Of Freedom for his Military Service, and his immense contributions to Civilian society; awarded to him by none other than the 44th President of the United States; Barack Hussein Obama.

Last, but not least; Sidney Poitier also deserved the Order of the British Empire Award as an Honorary Knight Commander that was awarded to him by Queen Elizabeth II in 1974.
