I’m told that this is a cutie! Sure seems to be. Comes with a PL base and not the odd coaxial one from older Lemm antennas. Standing a tall 200cm long and I’m informed the antenna is below 2:0 SWR from 26 MHz up to 28 Mhz so maybe interesting for the DX operators. Price […]

So you’re out there on a patrol, the commo window is open and you need to make a Cyril Report back to your TOC. Your RTO sets up the yagi getting ready to make contact, checking and rechecking the azimuth. He […]

Yesterday I mounted a second Beverage antenna. With 250 meters exactly the same length as mine mounted weeks ago, with the same angle. Identical uprights, identical wire spacing. The big difference is in the feed line. This is now done with a symmetrical TWINAX cable, so the topic of equalizing currents and their interference is completely eliminated. […]
Thank goodness The Evil Donald Trump has lost the 2020 United States Presidential Election.
Thank goodness a Democratic Presidential Administration has once again been elected to the Offices of President and Vice-President of the United States.
I can’t say that with how society is progressing, that the morality of the United States will be restored under the Biden-Harris Administration; but all I can say is again, thank goodness a Democratic Presidential Administration has been elected.

I am saddened by the passing of Sean Connery, the original actor to play the role of James Bond, and had also appeared in Motion Pictures such as “Ransom” (1974), “Cuba” (1979), several Indiana Jones films alongside Harrison Ford, and the 1998 film adaptation of the 1960’s Television Program titled “The Avengers”.
Below is a video of an interview on Dick Cavett’s Talk/Variety Show that had a run of nearly 20 years from 1968-1986, and has spent its run first on ABC, and later on PBS; of Cavett interviewing Roger Moore (who had passed away in 2017) regarding Moore taking over the role of James Bond from Sean Connery, what it is like to adapt the role of James Bond from Sean Connery’s persona and acting style to Roger Moore’s own persona and acting style; and how the transition from Sean Connery to Roger Moore playing the role of James Bond actually went.
Article from the New York Times, from 2017 regarding Roger Moore’s passing:
