Episode of Oprah Winfrey’s Talk Show that had aired in 1992 regarding the murder committed by housewife Betty Broderick.

As the parent and originator TV Station, WLS-TV was and still is owned and operated by ABC, all of ABC’s other owned and operated TV stations had also aired Oprah Winfrey’s Talk Show after it became nationally-syndicated. WXYZ-TV, even after ABC had sold it to Scripps-Howard, had continued to air the nationally-syndicated Oprah Winfrey show right up until its ending in 2011.

Preceding this airing of the Oprah Winfrey show on KABC-TV, the station had aired their ID promoting both their local News Department’s and ABC News Department’s coverage of the 1992 Presidential Election, of which Bill Clinton would defeat the incumbent President George H.W Bush.
