Not only do I, personally not sentences written entirely in Lower-Case letters becoming the norm; I am also very concerned about that.
Where have the rules about basic grammar skills gone?
People, get a clue and utilize Upper-Case letters whenever and wherever appropriate.
I am very concerned over Kyle Busch having jumped on the bandwagon of wearing an absurd Undercut haircut.
It had also concerned me when Kyle Busch had a Buzzcut haircut.
Embed from Getty ImagesI am very saddened by the loss of founding PBS News Hour anchor Jim Lehrer.
Lehrer, along with Robert MacNeil, a Canadian who is still living (as of the time of writing this post), and is also a novelist; had begun co-anchoring the Newscast in 1975. And ever since then, to this very day; the PBS News Hour has served as a non corporate-influenced Evening Newscast alternative to the 3 networks’ (CBS, ABC, and NBC) Evening Newscasts.
The Newscast was originally solely anchored by MacNeil and titled the Robert MacNeil Report, then MacNeil/Lehrer Report once Jim Lehrer came on board, then the MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour, then the NewsHour With Jim Lehrer; and finally, the PBS News Hour upon Lehrer’s retirement in 2011.
I still remember very well the theme for the PBS News Hour that was composed by Bernard Hoffer and used on the newscast until 2006; and this original musical theme is my favorite to date out of all the musical themes this newscast has ever had since its inception in 1975.
May the modern Gray home interior décor go away for good.
And may Beige, Brown, or any other color on the palette; as well as padded furniture with normal upholstery, and hardwood furniture made of normal wood and consisting of normal finishes of Oak, Cherry, and Maple wood.

I praise the author of this newspaper article who wrote about Tennis Player Barbara Jordan’s win of the 1979 Australian Open Tennis event.
The better days of Tennis, when Tennis was not overproduced and a high-dollar affair, was a jolly good event to spectate, and when the Sports Departments of the three networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) would periodically televise Tennis events.
As of the present day, as of the time of writing this post; only NBC televises the French Open Tennis event, as they have done every year since 1992.
I also can not stand another trend that has been persistent since the beginning of the 21st Century, documenting one selves’ life on the internet by the way of a Webcam.
Though, I do believe this particular trend has died down since the early 2010’s.
All I have to say is get a life and utilize common sense, people.
I can not stand the internet-based dare tactics of indolent teenagers that have existed since the beginning of the 21st Century, such as those so-called “Tasks” that were popular amongst teens in the mid-late 2000’s:
And the dare tactic where teenagers were dared to ingest laundry detergent:
Stupid people believing just about anything that they see or hear on the internet.
As we all know, life was better during the pre-internet era; during the 1970’s, 1980’s, and the early 1990’s.
An episode of the BBC Television programme titled “Tomorrow’s World’ from 1989 about what life will be like in the year 2020.
Not only is this particular episode from a better time than the present and the more recent past, but I find the presents on this Television show to be correct.
I actually feel the same way these presenters did in 1989, feeling like we have literally traveled on a time warp to the year 2020.
The Television programme titled “Tomorrow’s World” ran from 1965-2003, enjoying a 38 year run.

The recently-introduced styles of font (as of the time of writing this post) that are sweeping the internet and Television broadcasts like crazy are causing great me a great amount of anxiety on my part.
I am concerned that traditional fonts such as Aerial, Helvetica, and Times New Roman, for instance; may be no more.
I would much rather see these fonts in existence for the rest until the day I pass away; just as I already have for my entire 32 years (as of the time of writing this post whether it be on a computer, in print, or on a sign or billboard advertisement out there in the world.
These recently-introduced styles of font make me feel just as uncomfortable as the recent home interior décor trends (as of the time of writing this post) consisting largely of Gray and Black, padded furniture with strange upholstery designs, and hardwood furniture consisting of Gray-stained furniture and fake patina.
And just like with the traditional styles of font, I want home interior décor to eternally consist of the traditional color palette with colors other than Black and Gray, padded furniture with normal upholstery designs, and hardwood furniture consisting of traditional Oak, Cherry, and Walnut woods and stains.
I can wholly relate to this newspaper article from the Irish Times regarding the transition from the 2010’s to the 2020’s:
Actor William Lee Scott should not only be barred from having long hair, an Undercut haircut, or any other hairstyle that involves him wearing product in his hair; but William Lee Scott also needs to be transformed from being fit and muscular to being fat and overweight.
William Lee Scott also needs to comprehend that the automotive world as a whole, the world of amateur/ham radio, and the engineering side of commercial radio and television are all more important than the world of sports and fitness.
Furthermore, William Lee Scott should be forced to listen to Adult Contemporary, Jazz; and Easy Listening music; and William Lee Scott should also be barred from dressing to the nines.
One more note regarding the new decade that we’ve entered:
I don’t understand why there has been so much hype as of the time of writing this post regarding us entering yet another decade.
The last time I highly recall there ever being this much hype over the calendar changing was at the dawn of the 21st Century during the years 1999-2000, the so-called “Millennium” hype.
I can’t ever recall there being this much hype over the transition from the 2000’s to the 2010’s, during the years 2009-2010.

Note: At least, when Rick wrote this post about the famed 15th Century composer Sandro Botticelli, 1980 was nearly 30 years ago from the moment Rick wrote this post; not 40 years ago as of the moment the owner of this very blog is writing this post.
I, personally; am not ready to accept the year 1980 now being 40 years ago, and each year during the 1980’s progressively becoming 40 years ago as this new decade progresses. This is why I need the Arthur movie for adults to come into fruition, which takes place from the 1970’s up until the mid-1990’s; and for the many books the owner of this very blog has already written to be published and be present in our society more than ever.

Yet, may HRH Diana, Princess of Wales; and Shari Lewis be eternally immortalized along with many other people, objects, and occurrences from these time periods.
