My, oh my; do I continue to have more reveries of traveling in a motorhome with my paternal grandmother, Marie “Mimi”; and her daughter Mary Ann. This time, in a brand-new Newmar New Aire-Newmar’s entry into the compact Diesel Pusher arena. This coach is in the 3343 floorplan, is in the ‘Glacier’ Full-Body Paint exterior color, the interior décor called ‘Shadow’; and the wood choice is Bermuda Glazed Maple High Gloss.
This coach is on a Freightliner XCS chassis that was built specially for Newmar and uniquely for this coach, and not only is this coach powered by a 360 horsepower awful Cummins diesel engine; it’s the same one that has also been available in Dodge/RAM Heavy-Duty Pickup Trucks since 1989. This Freightliner chassis that was built uniquely for this coach also features the Allison/World 3000 Automatic Transmission.

And again, we travel to Vermont to retrieve Marie “Mimi” and her daughter Mary Ann; and then we travel to the Kissimmee RV Park in the Orlando suburb of Kissimmee, Florida; and then we travel to the vicinity of Florence, South Carolina.
