An article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution about Atlanta Motor Speedway being used as an evacuee shelter for victims in Florida.
I personally find it peculiar that a staff member of this race track would think that these peoples’ time at this place being used as a shelter may convert these people into being NASCAR fans.
I’ve had yet another reverie where I, my paternal grandmother, Marie “Mimi; and her daughter Mary Ann are traveling in a brand-new Newmar King Aire on the Spartan K3 chassis with a 600 horsepower awful Cummins diesel engine; in the floorplan 4534, the Ashford Full-Body Paint exterior color; the interior décor called ‘Dover’; and the wood choice being Ginger Glazed Cherry Ultra High Gloss.
And again, my paternal grandmother and I had traveled to Vermont to retrieve Marie “Mimi” and her daughter Mary Ann; and then we traveled to the infield campground at Darlington Raceway, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground on their property in Florida, the Midway Campground in Ochopee, Florida; Twin Lakes Camp Resort in Defuniak Springs, Florida (a city located on the Panhandle of Florida), Good Hope Campground in Cullman, Alabama; the Sleepy Bend Campground in Sardis, Mississippi; the Burns Park RV Park and Campground in North Little Rock, Arkansas; the Grand Bayou RV Resort in Coushatta, Louisiana (a town not too far away from the Louisiana-Texas border); Woodward Campgrounds and RV Park in the town of Woodward, Oklahoma; the Fort Collins / Lakeside KOA location in Fort Collins, Colorado (the campground located nearest to the WWV shortwave transmitter site); the Faith City Municipal Park in Faith, South Dakota; Thunderbird RV & Camping Resort in the town of Monroe, Washington (where we again visit with Rick Steves in the nearby cities of Seattle and Edmonds due to my paternal grandmother, I, and Rick himself each being kindred spirits); the Smith Lake Campground in the town of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; the campground within the vicinity of Spirit Lake Casino & Resort on an island on Devil’s Lake in the town of St Michael, North Dakota (in case you’re wondering, none of us would ever gamble; and gambling was never my paternal grandmother’s things and nor was it ever Marie “Mimi” and her daughter Mary Ann’s thing; and gambling never has and never will be my cup of tea); the Hickory Hills Campground in Edgerton, Wisconsin; the City Campground in Madison, Indiana; the Joy-O RV Park in Demark, Tennessee; the Lakeside Resort Campground in Grafton, West Virginia; the Woodland Valley Campground in Phonecia, New York; and the Seven Maples Campground in Hancock, New Hampshire-where we drop off Marie “Mimi” and Mary Ann back off at their homes in Vermont in the Pickup Truck. Then my paternal grandmother and I stay at the Valleyview Farm & Campgrounds in Waymart, Pennsylvania (a town located not too far away from the New York and New Jersey borders); the Firehouse RV Campgrounds in the town of Jefferson, Pennsylvania (a town located not too far away from the Ohio and West Virginia borders); the White Oak Creek Marina & Campground in Georgetown, Ohio; and then my paternal grandmother and I head back home in Michigan.
At another time, my paternal grandmother and I, along with Marie “Mimi” and Mary Ann travel to Mexico in this Newmar King Aire. after retrieving Marie “Mimi” and Mary Ann in Vermont, we drive down Interstate 91, through Massachusetts, through Connecticut, down Interstate 84, through Pennsylvania, down Interstate 81, through Maryland, through Virginia, down Interstate 77, through North Carolina, through South Carolina, down Interstate 26, down Interstate 95, through Georgia, through Florida, down Interstate 10, through Alabama, through Mississippi, through Louisiana, through Texas; down Interstate 35, through the United States-Mexico International border and the Texas-Tamaulipas Regional border, down Mexican Federal Highway 85, Mexican Federal Highway 85D, Mexican Federal Highway 40D, Mexican Federal Highway 15, Mexican Federal Highway 15D, Mexican Federal Highway 150D, Mexican Federal Highway 145D, Mexican Federal Highway 190D, Mexican Federal Highway 190, Mexican Federal Highway 125, Mexican Federal Highway 95, Mexican Federal Highway 200, Mexican Federal Highway 76, Mexican Federal Highway 15, Mexican Federal Highway 40, Mexican Federal Highway 49, Mexican Federal Highway 49D, Mexican Federal Highway 45D, Mexican Federal Highway 45, Mexican Federal Highway 10, Mexican Federal Highway 45, through the United States-Mexico International border and the Texas-Chihuahua Regional border; and we’re back in the United States beginning in the city of El Paso, Texas.
We drive to the Mexican cities and towns of Campeche, Merida, Cancun, and Mahahual; the Belizean cities and towns of Belize City, Belmopan, Dangriga, Hopkins, Seine Bight, Placencia, Monkey River Town, Toledo, Punta Gorda, Boom Creek, Sunday Wood, and Crique Sarco; and the Guatemalan cities and towns of El Naranjo, Flores, Tikal, Uaxactun, El Chal, Sayaxche, Boca Del Monte, Machaquila, Poptun; and Zompopero.
Back in the United States after our excursion through Mexico, we drive down Interstate 10, through Texas, through Louisiana, through Mississippi, through Alabama, up Interstate 65, up Interstate 85, through Georgia, through South Carolina, through North Carolina, up Interstate 77, through Virginia, up Interstate 81, through Maryland, through Pennsylvania, through New York, down Interstate 88, down Interstate 90; into Massachusetts, and over to the Sunsetview Farm Camping Area in Monson, Massachusetts-where we dump off Marie “Mimi” and Mary Ann back off at their homes in Vermont. My paternal grandmother and I stay at the Seven Mountains Campground in Spring Mills, Pennsylvania and the Free Spirit Campground in Bedford, Indiana; and then we head back home in Michigan.
I drive an aluminum-bodied, gasoline-powered Ford F-350 Single-Rear-Wheel model that is a Crew Cab, is 4-wheel-drive; and is also a Long Box mode. This is the vehicle that I tow with all four wheels down behind this coach, and I engage this truck’s transfer case into the neutral position each time I tow it with all four wheels down behind this coach.
In case you’ve been wondering; I am the one who has driven each and every one of these motorhomes in these dreams that I’ve been having.
Alternatively, I would have obtained a coach produced by Newmar’s arch rival-Entegra (nee Travel Supreme) Cornerstone (formerly the Travel Supreme Limited) instead of the King Aire-built on the same Spartan K3 chassis and powered by the same awful Cummins diesel engine; and my paternal grandmother, I, Marie “Mimi”, and her daughter Mary Ann would have taken the aforementioned trips in the Entegra Cornerstone instead.
I’ve had yet another reverie of being in a brand-new Newmar Mountain Aire in on the Freightliner SL-Series chassis with a 500 horsepower awful Cummins diesel engine in the floorplan 4537, the Hawthorn Full-Body Paint exterior color, the interior décor called ‘Seville’, and the wood choice being Bermuda Glazed Maple High Gloss; with my paternal grandmother, Marie “Mimi”; and her daughter Mary Ann.

In this coach, my paternal grandmother and Marie “Mimi” take a liking to the bathroom that includes a dual vanity with a built-in seat that Newmar has included with the floorplan of this particular coach.
And my paternal grandmother and I spent a few days in Vermont to retrieve Marie “Mimi” and her daughter Mary Ann, and then we travel to the St. Mary’s Cove Campground in the town of MacClenny, Florida (a town just west of Jacksonville that straddles the Florida-Georgia border); the Everglades Isle RV Park in Everglades City, Florida; Augie’s World RV Park in the town of Youngstown, Florida (located within the Florida panhandle), the Riverbend RV Campground in the town of Winnfield, Louisiana; the Apache Flats RV Resort in the town of Sierra Vista, Arizona (a town located not too far from the U.S-Mexico International border), the Playa Bonita RV Park in the town of Puerto Peñasco, Baja, Mexico; the Pio Pico RV Resort & Campground in the town of Jamul, California; the Spring Drive RV Campground in the town of Maupin, Oregon; the Rocky Point Campground in the town of Inchelium, Washington; the Lake Ki RV Resort in the city of Arlington, Washington (where we again visit with Rick Steves because he, I, and my paternal grandmother being kindred spirits; and again-none of the family ever lives in Seattle; they all continue to live in Vermont); the Hay Lake Campground in the town of Fort Laird in the Northwest Territories in Canada; the Gold Rush Campground in the town of Dawson in the Yukon Territories; and the Marion Creek Campgrounds in Fairbanks, Alaska. We then work our way back east across Canada, through Montreal; back into Vermont where we drop off Marie “Mimi” and Mary Ann, and then my paternal grandmother and I stay at the Almost Heaven Campground in Forksville, Pennsylvania; then my paternal grandmother and I stay at the Seneca Lake Park in the town of Senecaville, Ohio; and then my paternal grandmother and I head back home in Michigan.
In this particular dream, I find myself driving a Dodge/RAM 3-Quarter-Ton Single-Rear-Wheel model that is what Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) refers to as a ‘Mega Cab’ with the 6.4 liter Hemi gasoline engine; and as 4-wheel-drive; as the vehicle that I tow behind this coach with all four wheels down. I engage the transfer case on this truck into the neutral each and every time I tow it with all four wheels down behind this coach.
Below is a picture of a Dodge/RAM 3-quarter-ton Pickup Truck as a Mega Cab:
An article on the Chrysler-oriented website Allpar about a dealership In Butler, Pennsylvania where one man’s father had worked as the dealer’s service department manager, had received a 1967 Dodge Charger White Hat Special as a Company Car from Chrysler, his parents had purchased the car from Chrysler as their own family car, his father had always relented to give both him and his brother the car as their first car; and this man had received the car about 30 years later.
I’ve also experienced another reverie in my sleep of being in a brand-new Entegra (nee Travel Supreme) Anthem on the Spartan K2 chassis with the awful Cummins diesel engine and the Allison/World 3000 transmission in the 42DEQ Floorplan, the Victory Blue Full-Body Paint Exterior Color; the interior color called ‘Platinum’; and the wood choice that is called ‘Natural Glazed Cherry’ with once again, my paternal grandmother, Marie “Mimi”; and her daughter Mary Ann.
And we traveled from Michigan to Vermont to retrieve Marie “Mimi” and her daughter Mary Ann, and then we once again traveled to the campground that the Hershey company has on the premises of their theme park in their home town in Pennsylvania; at the Greene County Fairgrounds in Xenia, Ohio; the Hickory Campground in Lawrence, Kansas; the Desert Moon RV Park in Thompson, Utah; a campground in South Lake Tahoe, California titled ‘The Campground By The Lake’; a campground in a town located in between Los Angeles and San Diego known as Valley Center, California called Woods Valley Campground; the Port of Newport RV Park & Marina in Newport, Oregon; the Forks 101 RV Park in the town of Forks, Washington; the Riverside RV Park in Smithers, British Columbia; the Congdon Creek Campground in a town in the Yukon Territory that is known as ‘Destruction Bay’; the Rivers’ Edge RV Park & Campground outside of Fairbanks, Alaska; the Five Mile Lake Territorial Campground in a town in the Yukon Territory that is known as ‘Keno’; The Poplars Campground in Toad River, British Columbia, Shaw’s Point Campground Resort in High Prairie, Alberta; the Kimball Lake Campground in the town of Dorintosh, Saskatchewan; the Clearwater Lake Provincial Park in a town in Alberta known as ‘The Pas’; the Nipigon Marina Campground in the town of Nipigon, Ontario; the Camping Clin D’Oeil Campground in the town of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec; drop Marie “Mimi” and her daughter Mary Ann back off in Vermont; Brookview RV Park in Hubbardsville, New York; Highby’s Campground in Union City, Pennsylvania; the Hickory Grove Lake Campground in Marion, Ohio; and then my paternal grandmother and I would head back home in Michigan.
And in this reverie, I am driving a K2XX gasoline-powered 4-wheel-drive GM 3-Quarter-Ton Extended Cab Pickup Truck as the vehicle that I tow with all four wheels on the ground behind this motorhome. I engage the Pickup Truck’s transfer case into neutral each time I tow it with all four wheels down behind this motorhome.
my paternal grandmother and I visit with Shari Lewis’s daughter Mallory Tarcher-Lewis because her mother and my paternal grandmother are kindred spirits. I’ve also viewed her mother Shari Lewis as a close family member of ours ever since I was at a very young age.
None of Marie “Mimi” and Mary Ann’s family live in Seattle-they all live in Vermont; and my paternal grandmother and I visit with Rick Steves because he, I, and my paternal grandmother are kindred spirits.
Again, even in the alternate reality that my parents and I should be living in; we don’t ever own a motorhome. We own a Travel Trailer that we tow behind our Ford Bronco Converted By Centurion Conversions Of White Pigeon, Michigan that we use when we seldom travel anywhere together as a family.
Also, as I have already mentioned in a prior post on this blog; no other manufacturer has ever constructed a motorhome as well as Blue Bird. Blue Bird’s own proprietary chassis that was built specifically for the Wanderlodge and the All American Front Engine and Rear Engine Transit-style School Buses has always been a better chassis than the chassis that Spartan and Freightliner (formerly Oshkosh’s stripped chassis business arm) builds for Diesel Pusher Type A motorhomes.
I had a reverie in my sleep one night, for something that would never happen-even in the alternate reality that my parents and I should be living in; of being in a brand-new Tiffin Allegro Bus Type A Diesel Pusher motorhome with my paternal grandmother, Marie “Mimi”; and her daughter Mary Ann in the 45OP floorplan, the Smokey Teal Full-Body Paint Exterior Color with the interior décor called ‘Mahogany’ and the interior wood being called ‘Cherry Wood’; on Tiffin’s proprietary PowerGlide chassis with the awful Cummins diesel engine (when compared to the far superior Caterpillar, Isuzu, and IH/Navistar Diesel engines and the GM/Detroit Diesel 2-Cycle Diesel engines) and the Allison/World 4000 transmission.
And I was toting my paternal grandmother, Marie “Mimi”; and her daughter Mary Ann from the Detroit area to Vermont to retrieve Marie “Mimi” and Mary Ann to the campground that the Hershey company has at their theme park in Pennsylvania, to the infield campground at Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina, to the campground that Disney has at their theme park in Florida, to a campground on the inland lake of Lake Okeechobee in Florida; and to the RV park on the premises of Tiffin’s design and manufacturing facility in Red Bay, Alabama.
Now, the reason as to why I say that this wouldn’t even happen in the alternate reality that my parents and I should be living in is because if you’ve been following this blog for a long time; you already know that we’d be living in a sizable house on a large amount of property with my paternal grandmother in Oakland Township, Michigan, Orion Township, Michigan; or Lake Angelus, Michigan; only my paternal grandmother would be traveling very often-trotting the globe; and we would rarely travel anywhere as a family, and when we do, it would be using our Ford Bronco Converted By Centurion Conversions Of White Pigeon, Michigan towing a Newmar Travel Trailer to visit Marie “Mimi”, Mary Ann and their family in Vermont.
Of course, no other manufacturer has ever built as good of a motorhome as Blue Bird. The same care and attention that has gone into Blue Bird’s School Buses has also gone into their motorhomes.
I am very concerned about Tony Stewart being in an intimate relationship with a woman; and him potentially and finally getting a married, having children; and staring a family just like so many of the modern NASCAR drivers.
Getting married, having children; and starting a family has already changed fellow NASCAR drivers Clint Bowyer and Greg Biffle for the worse.
Cars should always come first for Tony Stewart, Clint Bowyer; and Greg Biffle. Cars should eternally be Greg Biffle, Tony Stewart; and Clint Bowyer’s “wife and children”.
Cars are my “wife, children; and pets” just like Jay Leno, currently Tony Stewart, and Clint Bowyer and Greg Biffle before they had gotten married, had children; and started families.
I can’t believe that Tony Stewart had actually fallen for how Denny Hamlin, Kasey Kahne, Elliott Sadler, Kevin Harvick, Casey Mears, Indy Car driver James Hinchcliffe; and Formula 1 drivers Nick Heidfeld and Jenson Button are all sordid Basketball guys.
