A Reverie That I’ve Had Of Being In A Brand-New Tiffin Allegro Bus Type A Diesel Pusher Motorhome With My Paternal Grandmother, Marie “Mimi”, And Her Daughter Mary Ann

I had a reverie in my sleep one night, for something that would never happen-even in the alternate reality that my parents and I should be living in; of being in a brand-new Tiffin Allegro Bus Type A Diesel Pusher motorhome with my paternal grandmother, Marie “Mimi”; and her daughter Mary Ann in the 45OP floorplan, the Smokey Teal Full-Body Paint Exterior Color with the interior décor called ‘Mahogany’ and the interior wood being called ‘Cherry Wood’; on Tiffin’s proprietary PowerGlide chassis with the awful Cummins diesel engine (when compared to the far superior Caterpillar, Isuzu, and IH/Navistar Diesel engines and the GM/Detroit Diesel 2-Cycle Diesel engines) and the Allison/World 4000 transmission.

And I was toting my paternal grandmother, Marie “Mimi”; and her daughter Mary Ann from the Detroit area to Vermont to retrieve Marie “Mimi” and Mary Ann to the campground that the Hershey company has at their theme park in Pennsylvania, to the infield campground at Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina, to the campground that Disney has at their theme park in Florida, to a campground on the inland lake of Lake Okeechobee in Florida; and to the RV park on the premises of Tiffin’s design and manufacturing facility in Red Bay, Alabama.

Now, the reason as to why I say that this wouldn’t even happen in the alternate reality that my parents and I should be living in is because if you’ve been following this blog for a long time; you already know that we’d be living in a sizable house on a large amount of property with my paternal grandmother in Oakland Township, Michigan, Orion Township, Michigan; or Lake Angelus, Michigan; only my paternal grandmother would be traveling very often-trotting the globe; and we would rarely travel anywhere as a family, and when we do, it would be using our Ford Bronco Converted By Centurion Conversions Of White Pigeon, Michigan towing a Newmar Travel Trailer to visit Marie “Mimi”, Mary Ann and their family in Vermont.

Of course, no other manufacturer has ever built as good of a motorhome as Blue Bird. The same care and attention that has gone into Blue Bird’s School Buses has also gone into their motorhomes.

1982 Bluebird Wanderlodge. Loved this! We saw it last night at dinner on the beach, but today it had the awnings down and a FS sign in the window. The lady was really nice & letting people go inside. Nearly all original. Just 43k miles for 40k. #cruisinth
