WJW-TV/WJKW-TV And WAGA-TV Newscasts Explaining The Switch From CBS To FOX Affiliation

A couple of WJW-TV/WJKW-TV’s newscasts from September, 1994 explaining the switch of it and the other ex-Storer stations in Detroit, Atlanta; and in Milwaukee to being FOX affiliates-including Rupert Murdoch having outbidded CBS (who had held the NFL NFC rights since 1956) for these rights in 1993, and Rupert Murdoch having approached Ron Perlman-the owner of New World Communications (at the time-the owner of all of the ex-Storer stations) to pay Perlman $500 million dollars if he switches all of his stations from being CBS affiliates to being FOX affiliates.

Also, a newscast from WAGA-TV from May, 1994 explaining the switch of it and the other ex-Storer stations in Detroit, Cleveland; and in Milwaukee to being FOX affiliates.
