WCAX sold to Gray Television

I am very disappointed to hear that after owning it ever since they had put it on the air in 1954, that the Martin family has decided to sell WCAX-TV to Gray Television.

I was on contact with Red Martin in 2010 regarding the Martin family’s knowledge of the defunct Storer Broadcasting company, why they had sold WCAX-AM in 1963 (when it became WVMT-AM afterwards), when CBS had the rights to NASCAR (of which the races televised by CBS were called by Vermont native Ken Squier); and the infamous deal that FOX had stuck with the NFL in 1993 when they had taken the NFL AFC rights away from CBS.

WCAX-TV is beginning a new chapter under new ownership. Why the Martins say they are selling the station they launched in 1954 to Gray Television.
