A first-generation Kia Sephia commercial for the Korean Domestic Market that utilizes a Wayne Conventional on a Ford B-Series chassis & cowl as a stunt vehicle in this commercial.
I do not like the Korean-based production company utilizing the Ford B-Series chassis & cowl as a stunt vehicle in this commercial. Not that I like Waynes, and nor did I ever think that Wayne, nor Superior had ever produced a quality product when compared to Blue Bird, Thomas, Carpenter; and Crown (which would later be absorbed into Carpenter in the 1990’s); I just don’t like this production company utilizing a School Bus as a stunt vehicle, end of story and no questions asked.
This car is on the same platform as the BG Mazda Familia/323/Protégé, KF/KH Ford Laser; and the second-generation North American Escort and Mercury Tracer. This car also utilized Mazda’s B engine, a Mazda/Toyo Kogyo 5-Speed Manual Transmission and the Ford F-4EAT Automatic Transmission.
In a nutshell, this car is essentially just a Koreanized version of the BG Mazda Familia/323/Protégé.
