Chinese-Korean Golfer Byeong Hun-An

Chinese-Korean golfer Byeong Hun-An, a modern golfer (when compared to the likes of Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Tom Watson; and Lee Janzen, to name a few) is a Korean of Chinese descent.

An’s mother, a Chinese table tennis player by the name of Jiao Zhimin; had met his father, Ahn Jae-hyung, also a tennis player; while they were both competing at the 1988 Summer Olympic Games that were held in Seoul, South Korea.

Jiao Zhimin and Ahn Jae-hyung had married in 1989, upon Jiao Zhimin having expatriated to South Korea from China. Jiao Zhimin and Ahn Jae-hyung had given birth to their son Byeong Hun-An on September 17, 1991.

Byeong Hun-An would very well fit into the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in China, an area in the Jilin Province bordering North Korea. Although many of the people of Korean extraction in the Yanbian Prefecture Chinese-ize their given names and their family names in order to avoid being repatriated to North or South Korea.

Byeong Hun-An should not be allowed to dress to the nines.
