As I have said before in other posts, IΒ am not fond of lighter-duty buses such as Type A cutaways and Type B buses built on the GM P-chassis. I am only fond of the heavier Type C conventional and Type D transit-style buses.
Building a School Bus body on a light-duty van cutaway chassis is abominable and as you see in the pictures of this particular Type A bus, this body was poorly assembled on the chassis & cab and is not a winning combination should the bus get t-boned on the right side or roll over.
Also, looking at lighter-duty like this one reminds me of how drivers in some school districts across the nation such as the Warren Consolidated Schools school district in Warren, Michigan (not counting my mother, who is a superior driver of Medium-Duty vehicles) not only abuses, neglects; and drives the light-duty buses on the P-chassis like idiots, but also the heavier Type D transit-style buses as well.

On August 12, 1985; during a holiday in Japan where citizens travel to their ancestral homelands to honor their deceased ancestors; a domestic flight from Tokyo-Narita to Osaka was scheduled to take place.
The airliner, a Boeing 747; had encountered technicalities while in the air, to the point where the Pilot and the Co-Captain could no longer control the aircraft.Β Yakota Air Base, aΒ U.S Air Force base had offered for the aircraft to land on their runway; but they ignored the radio call from the U.S Air Force and continued to bank on Tokyo Air Traffic Control to guide them back to Tokyo-Narita.
Eventually, the aircraft lost control; both of the aircraft’s engine had been ripped off by the way of encountering branches on trees, and the plane eventually crashed on Mount Osutaka, in the Ueno prefecture of Japan.
Tensions amongst the Japanese public were very high immediately following this airliner incident, and the United States Government had sent out investigators from the NTSB as “guest investigators”Β to assist the Japanese government in investigating this airliner incident. Engineers employed by Boeing were dispatched to Japan as well.
The culprit of this incident was an improper repair job on the bulkheadΒ that did not conform to Boeing’s approved repair methods, and was repaired 7 years earlier when their airliner was involved in another incident 7 years earlier in 1979- a tailstrike incident.
Personally, I admire the engineers at Boeing who had designed the 747 and at Airbus who had designed theΒ A320 for successfully being able to design a two-story aircraft.
Boeing had considered building a two-story, 500+ seat, four engine aircraft to compete with the Airbus A320; but they had scrapped that project in 1993.
If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you know my disgust with Formula 1 drivers Nick Heidfeld and Jenson Button, Indy Car driver James Hinchcliffe; in addition to NASCAR drivers Elliott Sadler, Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne, Denny Hamlin, Brian Vickers; and Casey Mears all being sordid Basketball guys.
And how all of the aforementioned men, in addition to some other NASCAR drivers should be transformed form being fit and muscular to being fat and overweight, be depleted of their athletic abilities; and come to realize just how much better the worlds of amateur and commercial radio and broadcast television are than the world of sports and fitness.
And all of the aforementioned men should also come to realize just how much more important School Buses are than sports and fitness.
Below are further examples of how much of a sordid Basketball guy Formula 1 driver Nick Heidfeld is.
Some time ago, I have written about Ford Broncos that were converted into a makeshift Suburban competitor by Centurion Industries in White Pigeon, Michigan; and Ford F-350 that have been modified by Centurion Industries.
We may or may not buy a Ford Bronco modified into a Suburban-type vehicle on a Ford F-350 Dual-Rear-Wheel chassis instead of a diesel Suburban in “Early Life And Continuous Livelihood”.
Below are a couple videos of Ford Broncos modified by Centurion Industries into a Suburban-type vehicle:
A Ford F-350 modified by Centurion by the way of grafting the rear of a Super Cab onto the rear of a Crew Cab so that the truck could seat up to 8-9 people.
You may remember a while ago myself having written a post about if any of the captains Β fishing vessels of the reality television program Deadliest Catch were casted in the Arthur movie for adults, including Sig Hansen (who was once casted in the Pixar film Cars 2 as the animated version of his own real-life fishing vessel, The Northwestern) and his brother Edgar as owners of Cabin Cruiser pleasure craft or motor yachts that are greater than 40 feet in length.
Though Sig Hansen has straightened himself up into being a decent human being, Edgar is the black sheep of the family who had gotten what he had deserved regarding his drug and alcohol addiction, and is an attractive looking stud otherwise; and Norman also seems to be a decent human being, it is despicable that each of the 3 brothers had spent their teenage years and early adulthood on flashy cars and modification systems-such as outrageous and noisy audio systems; in addition to drugs, alcohol; and were womanizers.
Maybe the 3 Hansen brothers, throughout the 1980’s; should have spent quality time in a 1971-1976 generation of GM B-platform station wagon rather than be addicted to drugs, alcohol, attractive women; and flashy cars.
And also, they would have been better off spending quality time in the successive 1977-1990 generation of GM B-platform wagons than partying, doing drugs, and being addicted to alcohol, attractive women; and flashy cars.
And they would have been better off spending quality time in the 1991-1996 generation of GM B-platform station wagon.
It is also despicable that throughout his teenage years and early childhood, that Phil Harris was addicted to drugs, alcohol, attractive women; and flashy cars.
Phil Harris, along with the Hanson brothers; would be better off spending quality time in a diesel Suburban than be addicted to drugs, alcohol, attractive women; and flashy cars.
Last, all of these Fishing Vessel captains should have been forced to listen to Adult Contemporary, Jazz; and Easy Listening music while spending quality time in the station wagon or diesel Suburban; such as the Blackbyrds song from 1975 “Walking In Rhythm” and Kenny Rogers’s song from 1980 “Love The World Away”.
