This was also one of the last Rear Engine TC/2000s produced before Blue Bird had discontinued the Rear-Engine TC/2000 in 1998 and had continued building the Front Engine TC/2000 until 2004.

The Allison/World MD3060 transmission must have been phased in as an option during the tail end of the Rear Engine TC/2000’s production run as this transmission was in the process of replacing the Allison MT-643 transmission.
