This is a journal from the 1600’s written by European explorers to the Islamic world. To the Middle East, and to what was later the Soviet Central Asian countries-Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan; and Turkmenistan. And almost Afghanistan had the Russians/Soviets been able to fully seize control of the country.
