If Shannon & Ray had purchased a motorhome in the mid-late 1980’s, they would have likely purchased a gasoline-powered Monaco motorhome on a GM P-Chassis or a Ford F-Series chassis, or a Monaco diesel-powered motorhome that they had built on a Gillig bus chassis before they had developed their proprietary Roadmaster chassis and built coaches on it starting in 1989.

Gillig had supplied their bus chassis to Monaco and a couple other motorhome coachbuilders during the 1980’s.
