I never knew that for some time during the 1970’s, the 3-door Range Rover was available with a Power-Take-Off unit; just like with the Series/Defender.

The PTO unit on the Range Rover was, however; only available as a Dealer-Installed-Option/Accessory whereas the PTO unit on the Series/Defender always has been available as a factory option.
