While Rick is over at our house, he may or may not watch Golf events on our television.

I think Rick might be into Golf, but I’m not totally sure.

If Rick were to watch a Golf event televised by CBS Sports on WJBK-TV, I’d talk to him about Storer’s corporate philosophy when it comes to the stations that it owns and operates (including WJBK-TV), the transmitter purchased by Storer that WJBK-TV operates on, CBS’s philosophy when it comes to it’s Sports Department; and Neal Pilson, the President of CBS Sports; at the helm of this operation.

If Rick were to watch a Golf event televised by NBC Sports, I’d tell him to ponder some more on the transmitter that WDIV-TV operates on, and personally; I’m not fond of NBC’s entire corporate philosophy, not only pertaining to their Sports Department, but also their News Department and their Entertainment Division.

Rick should be aware of the fact that here in the Detroit area, neither we nor my paternal grandmother ever watch WDIV-TV’s newscasts and very rarely do we ever watch WDIV-TV for general NBC network programming.

Shannon and Rick are both addicted to Tennis.

As yet again, things forevermore remain the same as they did in the 1980’s and the early 1990’s in “Early Life And Continuous Livelihood”, NBC Sports forevermore continues to have the rights to the Wimbledon Tennis event, and CBS Sports forevermore continues to have the rights to the U.S Open Tennis event.

Say Shannon and Rick were both visiting from out of state and were at the same place at the same time (in this case, our house). Shannon & Rick could be watching NBC’s coverage of the Wimbledon Tennis event on WDIV-TV (formerly WWJ-TV and the NBC affiliate in the Detroit area). I would be encouraging both Shannon and Rick to ponder over which manufacturer of transmitter WDIV-TV operates on.
